The Caboo is the new incarnation of the Close Baby Carrier - a two-piece organic cotton baby sling that can be used from the newborn days through to around 3 years. The material is a soft lightweight poly cotton blend (70% Cotton, 30% Polyester) with added stretch, I washed it once and came out very well.

We check how easy it is to get the sling or carrier on or off, when wearing both on your front and on your back. Caboo is the original sling re-invented, easy to use alone it simply pops on over the head like a t-shirt giving you all the great positioning, support and flexibility of a stretchy wrap but without the headache of tying. The Close Caboo Lite Carrier in Denim is a soft denim blue baby carrier with a delicate ripple design on the front panel. Lite still goes between parents with ease thanks to the clever rings but less fabric does mean the sizing isn't as generous as our other newborn Caboo styles. The Caboo Cotton Blend is made from a cotton / polyester blend, whilst the Caboo Organic is 100% Organic Cotton.It’s comfortable to wear, especially with the wrap tied snugly around your body, and holds your baby in a lovely close position. It just depends on the individual – once you know how to tie a wrap it’s never as hard as you’d think, and sometimes the two-part design of the Caboo seems more complicated than a simple wrap. To a new parent, turning a long bit of fabric into a safe secure sling seems a bit like witchcraft, and the slightly more pre-done design of the Caboo is very reassuring.

The fabric is very soft and the product is very comfortable, I used it for 3-4 hours few weeks ago at a socially distanced garden party, it was just want I needed, Erica enjoyed meeting some friends for the first time and even had a nap on me. These both differ slightly from Lite version, and offer a little more support in the back panel and more generous sizing. It has the natural feel of a fabric sling while giving extra support similar to something like an ergo baby carrier. Certified ‘hip healthy’ and with no tying involved, you and your little one can get some valuable bonding time with a carrier that supports you both in those early weeks and months. It has multiple hands-free positions, including discreeet seated support when breastfeeding and a hip position for older babies.

With wider straps and stretchier binding than previous versions of the Close Caboo Lite to improve on the original!
