I need to find a good resource for getting Model 2 and Supermodel running with my rig the way I want it, as well. Aside from the outrun mission, there's a party mode in which you and three additional friends can take turns partaking in a series of challenge missions. The reason I stopped playing the PC version in the first place, is because of the horrid controller support as evident in Geaogie's post above, and all the crazy amount of hoops I had to jump through to get it working with my setup, which has multiple separate USB devices hooked up to my rig.

In a 2017 special edition of the same magazine, listing their 100 top videogames of all time, OutRun 2006 was one of only two racing games on the list, along with Trials Fusion. Now I can play the game and collect as many Outrun miles as I want, without worrying about them being wiped away or my progress being screwed up.

That is to say, we know the Series consoles are back compatible with the Xbox OG and 360, but only for the games they allow. And while the original OutRun featured a cherry-red Ferrari, you'll be able to change the color of each of the cars in OutRun 2. At the end of the stage, the player will receive an average grade based on performance during previous stunts. The game creator can also set the route, restrict the race to certain cars, and enable or disable catch-up AI. As it is, you'll probably persevere until you've unlocked the best cars and the bonus tracks, and then it'll be up to your pride how long you continue.

The release was prior to Microsoft's raising of the maximum size of Xbox Live Arcade titles to 2 gigabytes, which would happen later that fall. I have a wired 360 controller for the PC, and I really would like to play Outrun 2 on my PC but I have a question.The game was released for the Xbox 360 on April 15, 2009, and was part of Microsoft's Days Of Arcade promotion.
