About this deal

You only need to add fresh, cold milk to the machine if you plan to make a milk-based coffee, in which it froths first, before layering in the espresso after. Note, this method does differ from how a traditional latte or cappuccino is crafted, where frothed milk is added to the espresso last. Knowing that the freshest cup of espresso comes from a freshly ground coffee bean, a ceramic flat burr grinderwith 12 grind sizes automatically portions out the perfect amount of coffee needed for your espresso drink. Using Philips 3200 lattego machine can bypass the beans to use a different bean of your choice or pre-ground. The machine is a hatch on the top, filling up the measuring cup that combines with the coffee maker and then putting it in the chute. Philip 3200 lattego first use is pretty easy to tilt to the side for foaming up cream; it works fantastic. The different using function of machine is below: Hot Water/Steam Wand When brewing, depending on the size of your cup, the adjustable coffee spout raises or lowers to meet the height of your cup to reduce any chance of splatter. Set up and use

But as always, the devil is in the details — and the infernal figures in the product codes — as you’ll see with our test model, the Philips LatteGo 3200, which many of you like to compare to the 2200. Then again, that’s probably because the stainless steel style plastic casing not only looks high quality but is so, surprisingly. And the main components are just as impressive. Philips LatteGo Grinder Usually, the ceramic flat burr grinder enjoys a premium reputation because it’s often quieter than its conical burr stainless-steel rivals, though I really can’t vouch for this in the case of the Philips 3200 LatteGo. Noise levels — which are pretty tolerable — during brewing aside, the extraction process is a bit too fast for my taste. The front of the Philips lattego machine is little lights for each choice of drink that you make. In addition, if you see the setting for beans in the machine, the machine will grind for use. That said, the minimum setting for espresso is not very generous. Instead, it just manages to scrape in the 0.85 fluid ounces (25 milliliters) mark that I consider optimal.

What more do you need? Nothing really. Though as a rather roundabout solution, if you remove the LatteGo System, you can even draw hot water. And that’s about the extent of the fiddling required. Don’t get me wrong: this isn’t the end of the world, but it does cause confusion — not just for me but also for those who’ve tried the Philips 3200 LatteGo. The differences between the 2200 and 3200 Series are pretty small. So one specialty coffee more or less isn’t exactly a real selling point. Now the automatic LatteGo milk system versus a steam wand is the only distinction that makes sense to me. Setting Up Your Philips 3200 LatteGo: Grind Size, Volumes and Temperature For us, it was well worth the trade off. We still love coffee and appreciate a well crafted coffee at that, but my god, when you have company over and can make 4 really nice cappuccinos in 2 minutes - it’s a thing of beauty. While the LatteGo should be cleaned following every use, the Coffee Grounds Container (holds up to 12 servings) and drip tray should be emptied weekly, but I'd recommend daily. These parts are easy to clean, remove and dishwasher safe.

You don’t need to be a barista to make a latte with the Philips 3200 espresso machine

After that, programming is a breeze. For espresso, you first select the relevant beverage button and can then customize the shot volume and temperature by adjusting the three-step scales at each of the buttons. First there is clearly a trade off; convenience vs quality. A semi-auto might give you a 8-9 quality coffee but the convenience is maybe a 5-6. Where a super auto will give you a 7-8 quality with convenience of 10. Included Accessories: Measuring scoop, Water hardness test strip, AquaClean filter, Lubricant, LatteGo storage lid The control interface uses touch-sensitive buttons make it easy and fast to select your preferred beverage. Various lights will also flash if the water filter needs to be changed, water is low, or an error is occurring. Philips 3200 lattego are fully automatic coffee grinders, so it is not ordinarily troubling while making espresso cups or milk feathers. Still, its aqua filter needs to remove from the water tank if immersed upside down in the water. Replace the aqua water filter and dispense 3-4 cups of hot water. If the problem persists, you should make coffee without the filter. The End
