In this Monopoly edition, there are no railroads, no utilities, no houses, and no Community Chest cards. When you land on a property that is owned by another player, you will owe them rent. If they don’t tell you that you owe rent before the next player rolls the dice though, you don’t have to pay. Depending on what space you land on, you will take the corresponding action. See the Board Spaces section below for more details.

When you land on a property that has a price tag and nobody owns it yet, you must either buy it or auction it. You CANNOT decline both options. When you land on either of these spaces, you will add 400 of your money to the vault. Guess for Free! At any time in the game you can choose to buy, sell or trade with the other properties. You may trade properties, cash, Hotels, and Get Out of Jail Free cards.If the vault opens, the player that opened it gets to take everything inside. This player guessed the number five and pressed the red button. The number was correct as the vault opened. The vault had 400 in money, a Hotel, and a Key inside. The player that opened the vault will get to take all of it. Also, you can mortgage your property to raise money of your own. When your property is mortgaged, you CANNOT collect rent on that property. You can unmortgage that property by paying the unmortgage cost (always higher than the mortgage sale) so that you can collect rent. Items that are not available in store will take 3-5 working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays) to be delivered to your nominated store.

If you roll doubles, you will get to take another turn. If you roll doubles three times in a row, you will immediately move your pawn to the jail space. You will not get to complete your third turn. This player has rolled doubles. They will move ten spaces around the board and take the corresponding action(s). They will then get to take another turn. If you do not want to pay (or you do not have enough money), this space is your rest space and you do not do anything. There are riches in the vault. These prizes will be received by whoever successfully opens this vault with a correct code. After the vault is opened, it will be refilled with another round of riches and a new code will be set. When you land on Free Parking you get one free guess at trying to open up the vault. See the Vault section below. Instead of playing until all of the properties are collected, you can choose to play until one of the players has gone bankrupt. You complete a color group if you have all the properties for one color. When this happens, you are allowed to place a hotel in any of the properties within a complete color set. The red “M” button is used to open the vault. If not pressed, that means a code (a number) is wrong. If pressed, that means a code is correct and the lid pops off.

Odds of Winnings and Prizes

Each player will choose a playing piece to use for the game. You will place your playing piece on the GO space to start the game.

If you have a complete color set, you can place a hotel in a street on that color set. You can place up to 2 hotels in one street.

If you do not want a property or you don’t have enough money, that property must be put up for auction. If you have tried to roll doubles three times and fail, you will pay 100 to the vault. Your last roll will then be used to move you around the board.
