In this article, we will show you the detail of this brand! We hope you can enjoy it ! Brand reputation and the history Linear key switches are popular for gaming, where the smooth travel of the keys minimises any finger fatigue due to fast and intensive key presses. Key Switch When looking to buy a keyboard with Kailh Box Jade Switches, there are several factors you need to consider. First, you need to make sure the keyboard is compatible with your device. In this image, the highlighted section covers my initial speaking and then the typing. The last third is when I was both speaking and typing and is not used for the statistics. Tactile key switches are popular for typing as they offer a noticeable tactile bump when pressed and have little noise. The tactile bump allows typists to achieve higher typing speeds as they are aware of the point the switch activates and can therefore remove their finger and move to the next key. Key Switch

Kailh | Professional Mechanical Keyboard and Mouse Switches

Gaming - If you are predominantly using the keyboard for gaming, I would recommend a linear key switch. They offer a smooth keystroke and are silent. Most gaming keyboards include a Red key switch. The Kailh Box Brown is a fantastic tactile switch. It has a firmer tactile bump than the Gateron Brown and is smoother than either the Gateron or Cherry MX Brown. Even though these are Pro switches, I did not find them to be as smooth as the Box or Speed switches. They have quite a wobbly feel, especially compared to the Kailh Box switches. They have a good tactile bump right at the start of the key press and feel more linear for the rest of the key travel. They have a stiffer spring towards the end of the keystroke, similar in feel to the Kailh Heavy switches and are quite difficult to bottom out. One thing I do like with the Pro Purple is the sound. They have a nice reassuring thud when pressed, a richer sound than the Box Brown. They have often been labelled a poor cousin to Zealios switches, especially the 65g and 67g versions. I prefer to think of them as having a unique feel. If you are a light typist and do not regularly bottom out your keys, these are a fantastic switch. If you are a heavy typer you may not enjoy their feel when they bottom out. I like the switches, even if they make my hands tired after any heavy use. They are extremely tactile and are fun to type on. I am definitely keeping these on my Kona as my daily driver (and if you all like this post maybe I'll make another about my long term impression of the switch after I've had more time with it).The Kailh Box Jade Switch has a reputation for being very smooth and having a quiet operation. They are often compared to the Cherry MX Brown switch, which is also known for its smooth feel and quiet operation. Similar in feel to the Box Brown. They do not feature the box design so there is a slight bit of keycap wobble.

Kailh Box Jade: The Ultimate Guide - Good Keyboard Kailh Box Jade: The Ultimate Guide - Good Keyboard

Before wrapping this up I want to talk about the stem and housing wobble, though there is none in the latter case. Of the three spare Box Jades I have, none of them exhibit any wobble between the top and bottom housing. By the way, the means by which the top and bottom housing snap together is also different between at least some Kailh switches and the traditional Cherry design. I do not think this is the norm though with this switch but just a bad combination of things, but I must put it here to detail everything that happened (you know, science). And because of this I would personally recommend a harder (or less universal) plate when building with these switches. I did fix the problem without much hassle and ended up putting a Navy there just for safety. These switches feature a unique box design to the stem. This keeps the stem protected to provide an IP56 rating for dust and moisture and also reduces any keycap wobble. Hope you all liked this, it's definitely my longest post ever so feel free to critique my formatting too ;) I created a scene and a profile in OBS Studio that captures both the recording microphone and the headset microphone to two separate streams, and then I duplicated the device captures to add the RNNoise filter. This allows me to have four separate streams, two per microphone with one being an unfiltered version and the other being with just RNNoise enabled. With an FFmpeg script I have the video removed from the recording, the audio converted to FLAC, and the audio made mono. (OBS Studio seems to only be able to record in stereo, even when the source is mono.)If you have made it through this whole thing you must love this hobby as much or more than I do. Any suggestions are welcome as I'm new to reviewing pretty much anything. I hope I was at least able to help someone decide between any of these switches if you were curious about any of them. The Kailh Brown is non-RGB and is not as good as switches from Cherry MX or Gateron with a slightly scratchy feel. I recommend the Kailh Box Brown instead. Cherry MX Blues also have a stronger tactile bump than Kailh Box Jade Switches. What to look for when buying?
