The most important thing I have learned in my journey is that we all share different opinions, and that’s fantastic. In fact, I think that the only person who can decide is something for you, is only you! Montblanc wants to make its Explorer Eau de Parfum an ode to adventure. The fragrance evokes the window opened in a train wagon or a tent planted in the mountains. The German brand has thus drawn on its exotic and contrasting scents from all the continents: Although fans of Aventus will likely comment that Explorer doesn’t nearly match it in performance, it is still a fragrance that holds its own. The sillage provides a nice trail behind the wearer, but not too long neither. Since we now know what each letter and section stands for and what is achieving, let me explain how S.P.A. questions work and how to add or deduct a point from each question.The fragrance opens up with natural smelling Bergamot note reminiscent of fruity Aventus batches. It is uplifting, and ripe, and since this note is sometimes used to recreate Pineapple note, Aventus DNA is strongest at this point. At the head, you will likely experience some fruitiness. However, it’s bergamot as opposed to pineapple. I did get a whiff of that tropical fruitiness right at the beginning, but it faded as soon as it was noticed. Projection is okay. The scent bubble is very tight and relatively close to the body. Therefore, you do get a nice little whiff from a distance, but you have to approach to really start to appreciate it a little more. Meanwhile, the longevity does endure quite a while. So, the only logical step was to create something that will help my fellow frag heads decide how should they spend their hard-earned money based on simple and effective psychology. The bottle echoes the earth’s two hemispheres, recalling the multiple destinations explored during this olfactory expedition. It surely doesn’t push the game forward, yet it stays familiar with just above good enough quality to please everyone. While Montblanc Explorer can be considered as a little bit synthetic, it’s a clean fragrance with a summery character as is quite affordable too. It offers an impressive experience with a rich bouquet of notes.In fact, I find the fragrance best suited for the office as the perfect situation for Explorer. Polo shirt, blue jeans, and nice shoes. Now, let’s get into visual stuff. Both box and the bottle are crafted so that they go with each other perfectly. It’s a great daytime fragrance and not something I wouldn’t particularly wear during the evening. Similarly, it’s probably best worn in the office. Dior Sauvage EDT -the Sauvage DNA runs through the Explorer’s body and gives it that freshness and woodiness with Ambroxan. Sauvage is arguably the most popular modern designer perfume.
