About this deal

It’s because these are just a few things that contribute to the cutter’s comfort, usability, flexibility, and durability. For some cutting length diversity, you will receive 4 Wahl guards (from 1/8″ to 1/2″ in size.) You’ll also fetch a red blade guard, Wahl cleaning brush, clipper oil and the instructions for the Peanut clipper. To make your trimmer last as long as possible you should be cleaning and oiling as per the instructions on a regular basis. This helps ensure the device is working optimally and helps to prolong its life of this device. If you are used to using a cordless trimmer the cord can be cumbersome and get in the way. Worthy of noting.

Without a guard the Peanut can be used as an edger around the beard. Just settle on a spot where you want the edge of the beard and then point the blade perpendicular to the skin. Basically, it can be used at a 90° angle for this. Go around the whole perimeter of the beard. I have reviewed a lot of trimmers and clippers over the years and what I reach for the most is the Brio Beardscape. Hands down the best trimmer/clippers I have ever laid my hands on. So many options in hair cutting lengths, more than any other trimmer/clippers. Plus it is powerful and cordless and is a serious tool. Brio states this is the last trimmer you will ever need and I 100% agree. My favorite trimmer and I highly recommend it. The Brio Beardscape blows away the Wahl Peanut in every field. This is primarily designed for cutting hair (clippers) and for trimming facial hair (trimmer). How Well Does It Work? Do I Recommend It?The blade is detachable and replaceable. This adds longevity to this clipper/trimmer as you can replace the blade when no longer sharp or it has been damaged. When it comes to hair trimming, the Peanut guarantees crisp, sharp, and easy trims and hairline designs to ensure you get the perfect finish. Being the all-around amazing electric trimmer it is, the Peanut still suffers from a few disadvantages which we will also discuss here in this Wahl Peanut review. The main one would be its tendency to pull hair from time to time. I’m not saying you’ll experience this 100%, but – maybe due to its size, this Wahl trimmer does “chew” on strands. I would also wish the guide combs came in smaller and other sizes too. You get four sizes and with nothing attached to the Peanut, you get five size options. Not enough options here, I even looked for aftermarket guide combs but I could not find any. Bummer!!! I love options when cutting hair on my head and my face, the more the better and I feel very limited on options with the Wahl Peanut.

Finally, it’s possible to use this Wahl hair trimmer for doing some work on your private parts . I advise you to be mindful, though – delicate areas should be handled with extra care. And of course, the 7-feet-long power cord should be just enough to maneuver the clipper with ease when shaving your head, chest, arm, and leg at home. Unfortunately, the Peanut just doesn’t make the cut as an A-list, professional barber clipper. For a clipper to be recommended for heavy-duty work, it has to have; Whether you are a DIY or professional barber, we can all agree that flexibility is imperative for good hair cutting results. That’s why clippers with longer cords (>8ft long) or cordless ones are most preferred. Please note that despite it having a decently powerful motor, this clipper is not recommended for heavy-duty work. The simplest but most important thing you can do is just wipe off the hair from the blade with an old toothbrush. Do this before and after every haircut so there is no hair left sitting on the blade. The hair is acidic and will make the blade dull over time.

Last but not least, the Peanuts’ blades really require proper attention. Sure, that can be said for all hair clipper blades, but…I’ve had at least a few people mentioning that to me. Maybe they overlooked the basics of proper clipper blade care, maybe not. In fact, you can even use it as a balding clipper without much hassle. Just keep in mind that the Peanut, as most standard clippers and trimmers, is limited in this. It won’t cut as close as a razor. You will still have some stubble left.

You’ll enjoy its compactness, reliability, convenience, comfortability, and maneuverability when it comes to trimming hair or maintaining short haircuts. If you want to leave the beard longer than that, you’ll have to do a clipper over comb technique. This just means you take as much hair in the comb as you want to cut and then slide the blade over it. Do this all around the beard. The Peanut isn’t the best trimmer in terms of motor power and blades, but it’s an ace performer when it comes to usability and handling.

The quiet operation will keep kids from getting spooked. They may not even realize there is a clipper right by their ears until you start the haircut. In fact, it’s one of the best hair trimmers on the market due to its lightweight, miniature, and ergonomic nature. This comes with only 4 different guide combs which is fine but would like to see some other sizes as well or some kind of adjustability in adjusting the trim length. Our top selling professional trimmer has gone cordless! Cut the cord with this lightweight, detachable blade trimmer. The Wahl Cordless Peanut is a compact, versatile rotary motor powered tool! KEY FEATURES Yes, they aren’t T-shaped like most hair trimmers including the Andis T-Outliner, but the Peanut knows exactly how to get the job done.

But because this trimmer works better for light clipping and trimming, I’d say it’s enough to get the job done.

Much more easily said than done. I am extremely mechanically orientated and have tried three times to sharpen them. They are almost useless (Wahl animal Pro Series) after only two cuts.
