About this deal

What this statement means is that the strength of the whole roll can hang (up to) 120kg; so, to get the theoretical highest level of weightbearing the product claims to possess, you need to use the whole roll. For my part then without having had the benefit of their input, I want to state that you should view the caveats UniBond themselves have mentioned for using their product like this with the appropriate degree of respect, and take them very literally. This innovative product has gained popularity due to its use for dynamic applications with waterproof feature and reusable nature for durable construction. It can be used for temporary mounting of items such as photos, posters, or decorations without worrying about damage to walls or surfaces. The transparent double-sided Nano tape is ideal for those looking for an invisible adhesive that can replace traditional glue or nails. Please. No. I mean, not from my/our point of view, being as mentioned a manufacturer and retailer of blinds; I/we will not honour any warranty for our blinds claimed on as a result of trying to No More Nails-a-blind to a wall.

Ok, but can you put up a blind with No More Nails On A Roll? Again, this is a no from me in my opinion as a Blinds Person ( blinds person not blind person, though my idea of what constitutes nice shoes might make you wonder). Why? Because drilling down now into the level of pedantic semantics that made me really unpopular at school, UniBond state that you can hang a blind with No More Nails On A Roll – but they don’t state that you can use/operate a blind hung with No More Nails On A Roll. Product questions for our: 25mm x 2mm x 16.5 Metres Foamed Clear Structural Acrylic Gel Tape With Red Liner (A different size of this product) It's great for DIY projects that require a strong attachment, without the use of traditional mechanical attachments, such as nails and screws. It's generally safe and easy to use (like most adhesives), and has incredibly high bond strength. One reviewer said:

Also. No More Nails On A Roll “can support up to 120kg per roll.” Why am I repeating this? Because up to, and because per roll.Surface preparation is paramount for achieving the required bond when using this pressure sensitive adhesive. Read our Surface Preparation and Application Guide for more information on how to apply this foam tape. With that said and in the interests of providing all of the available information you need to make an informed decision, it is my duty to inform you that the parents of both No More Nails and No More Nails On A Roll diverge from this view when it comes to the tape version of their deeply impressive nail substitute that I really rate highly. (UniBond are kind of big, so I’m going to try really hard not to anger them nor to give our legal department, population one, anything to worry about. I’m sure they’re lovely, so I’ll probably be fine…) Can you put up a blind with No More Nails? Operating a blind places a level of pressure/weight on its headrail and fixings each time, and also causes movement/vibration, none of which is a problem for blinds affixed with screws; but all of which might well be a problem for any glue or glue tape-related product, particularly when said operation is performed repeatedly, such as if you open and close your blinds morning and night every day. The UniBond No More Nails range is perfect for any homeowner who wants to hang pictures without the hassle. The product you choose depends on the weight of the picture or frame, and how permanent the bond needs to be.

For technical support. Dear Sir/Madam We are having new double glazing installed and have a problem. Our old windows opened from hinges in the middle, therefore roller blinds could be fixed from the ceiling immediately over the blinds. This type of double glazed unit is no longer made and the windows now open inwards. This means the blinds would have to be fitted to the top of the frame and using screws would make the guarantee nul and void. Do you make and adhesive tape that would hold the weight of a roller blind? None of the windows are more than.a meter deep if that. Your telephonist suggested I e mailed technical support directly as you are often difficult to get through to. I look forward to hearing from you and thank you in anticipation - Pauline This innovative technology makes Nano Tape waterproof, an eco-friendly alternative to traditional adhesives, as it can be easily removed and reused for different projects. With its versatility in application, Nano Tape is suitable for various DIY projects, including home décor, crafting, and organisation. Advantages of Nano Tape over Traditional Tape

Our No nails Needed Kit is idea for the following applications

Additionally, Nano tape can be easily removed without damaging the surface it was applied to, which makes it a cost-effective solution for fixing leaks. In addition to outdoor applications, Nano tape is also versatile enough to be used indoors for DIY projects such as hanging pictures or organizing cables. Different types of nano tape available Apart from wall mounting, Nano tape can also be used for organizing cables and cords around the house or office. Its ability to hold up to 2 kilograms of weight makes it suitable for mounting small shelves as well. Moreover, its waterproof and heat-resistant properties make it an ideal solution for humid environments or near sources of heat such as kitchens and bathrooms. The best part about this tape is that it's reusable! To reuse the tape, simply remove it from the surface and wash it with warm, soapy water. This helps to remove any dirt or debris from the adhesive and makes it ready for reuse. Thus, using soapy water is an essential step in maintaining the quality of Nano tape making it long-lasting and extremely useful. Fiberglass UniBond state that their No More Nails Tape – “No More Nails On A Roll” if you will – is “ideal for putting up blinds without drilling holes,” because it “has immediate grip and can support up to 120kg per roll.” Hi Pauline, If both surfaces are completely flat and have been completely cleaned then you could try this Structural acrylic tape, but you would need to find a way of securing the bond without any weight baring on it for at least a good 12 hours! - Ian, Product Support Manager But I do caution you to bear in mind that “supports up to” actually means in literal terms only “will never support more than,” and doesn’t tell you an accurate weight it will definitely support (nor for how long), which is almost certainly because this can be highly variable, as you might expect.
