The tents that Naturehike produces are near copies of higher-end brands; however, Naturehike uses cheaper materials and a faster manufacturing process to cut down on costs. At 2.6 kg, this tent is a little heavy for hiking. It’ll be fine for weekend trips but it’s not the best choice for long-distance thru-hiking. It would certainly be a fantastic choice for bike touring, though it’d be a good idea to share the tent weight with the person you’ll be sleeping next to. Technical specs are the usual: 20d ripstop nylon with a PU4000mm waterproofness, 7001 aluminum poles, and stakes.

I love that this tent has two doors because it really does transform your camping experience if you are sharing your tent. It also has sealed seams to protect you from the rain; these seams aren’t always present in Naturehike tents.

The two doors, one for each side, allow for easy access and storage. Both doors indeed have a decently sized vestibule that can be fully or partially closed. The Star River sits somewhere in between the two. So, if it’s inner space you want, then the Mongar is probably the one for you.

The center height is tall enough to sit up comfortably, and there are two separate vestibules for you to store your kit, giving you even more room in your sleeping compartment.
