I could see that being thrilling for elementary to middle schoolers who don’t want to be too scared, but given all the drinking and swearing from a bunch of kids who can’t even drive yet, I am not completely sure who the audience for this particular book is even supposed to be targeted towards. Their plates were empty all apart from Pip’s because there had been too much thinking to do to concentrate on eating.” Pip, our favorite teen detective from A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, is joining friends for an evening of sleuthing. They're having a murder mystery party set in the 1920s, complete with costumes and accents. And when someone "dies", there are plenty of clues and red herrings to cast suspicion in every which way. This book will give you the answer to it. This is a prequel to the A Good girls guide to murder series. i feel like the book played too much into the role of celia and while some ppl might like that, all i read abt was constant criticizing and how pip wouldn't do things her character did or working out the details of celia's life to prove she wasn’t the killer. she got too eager when she played the game and it was to the point where she forgot abt the other ppl and stopped seeing them as her friends. pip gave off introverted vibes which i usually don’t mind in a book, but in a group setting differs when u choose to be isolated. this might be a personal irk thing for me tho

Overall, I enjoyed this sm more than I thought I would!! 😍 I would absolutely recommend if you loved the agggtm series and want more content. It's such a fun and genuinely clever story 💗💗 Following the events of Good Girl, Bad Blood, Pip has been left psychologically traumatised and unable to sleep at night. Her life already at an all-time low, things take a turn for the worse when she becomes the target of a relentless, anonymous stalker. The stalker sends her constant messages, asking her the same question " Who will look for you when you're the one that disappears?" At first, Pip tries to brush off the threats, hoping it is just an internet troll, but as the messages become more frequent and the stalker's presence looms closer and closer to her home, she begins to realise that the danger is real, imminent, and inescapable. Despite her desperate pleas, the police refuse to take her seriously, leaving Pip to face the stalker alone. Ooh, how fun to don one's detective cap and suss out a killer in the midst, all under the guise of a party!I read the whole AGGGTM series last year and LOVED it (despite having mixed feelings on the third one), and I've been meaning to get to it for a while- and I'm soooo glad I finally did!! 🥳 While it was super short, it managed to be so entertaining and fun and reminded me of my love for agggtm 💖 She decides that the only way to do this is to put on a podcast and talk about it. Pippa’s able to make the true crime podcast with Ravi’s assistance, and it’s out just a short time before going viral. Now Pippa has not only something to say, but more followers than ever.

Good Girl, Bad Blood was shortlisted for the YA Book Prize in 2021. [6] As Good As Dead (2021) [ edit ] It was not all too long ago that one of those crimes woke up a small town. The case has since been closed, but the memory stays fresh in the minds of the people that live there. Andie Bell was just a young student at the time, just five short years ago. That was when her life was brutally taken from her. Declared a homicide, Andie was murdered. I will say, I don't generally gravitate towards novellas (or short stories, for that matter). It's because I find them to be a bit unsatisfying. Just as you're getting into the whole thing, it's already over. And it felt a bit like that here. I wanted more. More of the murder, more of the solving, more of the explanation. But I suppose it's better to end up wanting more than wanting less, so that's a small complaint. Pippa Fitz-Amobi is not in the mood for her friend’s murder mystery party. Especially one that involves 1920’s fancy dress and pretending that their town, Little Kilton, is an island called Joy. But when the game begins, Pip finds herself drawn into the make-believe world of intrigue, deception and murder.
