I agree it is a POS. never able to sync to my phone for updates. Telephone support was an absolute joke as well. As a long time Tom Tom supporter and user in the past I will never ever waste my money on Tom Tom again. They have ripped me off for the last time Both the remaining distance and remaining time is now shown in the route comparison panel if the setting is 'both'. We have implemented a workaround for users with unstable Bluetooth connectivity which will enable them to use live services again (TomTom Traffic and Speed Camera Alerts) and to sync content from the MyDrive app.

Another major addition with the TomTom Go 6000 is something that TomTom calls 'Always Connected', that is, it boasts an integrated data modem to access the TomTom data network directly from the sat nav. You don't incur any additional costs when using this, and it even works when you're driving around Europe, signal permitting of course.When you select a route in My Routes, you can choose between driving to the starting point or to the point closest to your current location.

Plus the road name is displayed at the bottom of the screen and directions are depicted on the screen for action in a certain, given distance. Furthermore it calculates the fastest routes and it also provides accurate arrival times. In addition a route bar shows you traffic and speed camera information regarding the road ahead. You will also receive advanced lane guidance that provides guidance as to which lane to be in at all junctions. Overall though, the TomTom Go 6000 is an exceptional sat nav.
