When I first came across Enso Supergreens (non called Live It Up Supergreens) powder online, I didn’t pay much attention to it. Conventional treatments for hormonal issues can include hormonal contraceptives and hormone replacement therapy (HRT). My overall impression is that this powder is helping me restore my nutrient levels. You see, I’ve been going through a stressful phase. Stress always depletes our nutrients. Aside from the above ingredients, this powder also has beet root powder, lemon, mint, monk fruit and coconut water all of which likely contribute it’s pleasant (minty) flavor.As much as I like the BTT vitamins, I have also been diving in Pure Synergy’s products for one reason: they use fermented vitamins. NOTE: this powder used to be my top green powder choice. However it does contain natural flavors which I’m not always a fan of (because they can still be synthetic). Also, if are someone doesn’t do well with adaptogens, it contains ashwagandha. Now that I’ve come across Enso – which has no natural flavor nor adaptogens – I’ve put this Green Juice as the runner up. Still a quality product, but personally, I would reach for the former.

In addition there’s maca (an adaptogen known to support hormones) and two fruits for natural sweetness (i.e. lucuma and banana powder). This a hybrid protein powder and superfood powder, that is also organic and free of weird additives or preservatives. This essential mineral magnesium is a muscle relaxant, known to help reduce stress and tension, and promote better sleep.It’s known to be useful for relieving PMS and menstrual cramps too. N- Acetyl Cysteine: May help improve insulin levels, insulin sensitivity, ovulation, and fertility. Studies show it helps reduce menstrual irregularity, abnormal hair growth, and cholesterol

Overall, this organic powder provides 20 grams of protein per serving and uses monk fruit extract as a sweetener (it’s toward the end of the ingredient list). This group of herbs may help the body adapt to stress and regulate hormones. They are known to help stabilise blood sugar and insulin, improve mood and support adrenal gland and thyroid function. Vitamin B3: acts as a relaxant and stress reliever that supports healthy sleep, and also helps with anxiety and depression. The big advantage here is that the fermentation process makes the nutrients more bioavailable, so you absorb more (which is what we want from a supplement!).
