About this deal

Until the beginning of senior year, one night at a party. When lines are blurred and eventually crossed. It was the best night of my life. A night I will never forget. Or regret. It’s all I can think about. He’s all I can think about. Includes never-before-seen bonus material, including a steamy and sweet scene of Crew and Wren celebrating Valentine's Day at Lancaster Prep.**

if you're looking for an intricate and complex plot, this is not that book. if you're looking for high action or excessive drama between the MCs, this is not that either. this is hands down one of the sweetest romances i've read. But when their lives unexpectedly collide, Wren discovers there's more to life than good grades - and Crew finally understands what it's like to care about someone other than himself . . . Attending lavish parties is not a common affair for Summer Savage, her family are on the fringe of society but her stepfather wanted her to get used to the glamour of it all. Her fourteen-year-old self sips leftover champagne as she watches the party in awe. Captivated by a boy who is around her age, yet seems older than her then steals her first kiss before calling her a whore. Telling her about her mom’s affair with his father and that she is probably on her knees for him. Summer suddenly saw the world differently after that night. exhibit two: “And then there’s my sister, Charlotte. Our father sold her to the highest bidder and now she’s married to a man she doesn’t even know. He’s a decent guy, but shit.” ???

exhibit one: “Better not. We can’t afford to get in trouble this late in the game. It’s zero tolerance here, baby.” I give her breast a gentle squeeze and a whimper escapes her.”

Sometimes you just need a good drama filled, angsty teenage romance about a bunch of rich kids in a boarding school. But beyond that I wonder what is going through the authors mind… maybe she will give him a character development? I could get behind that. I adore the bad boy trope, but Crew was not a bad boy… he was a worm. Actually, not even that because worms are very integral to the ecosystem serving a purpose on ground renewal and nutrients. Crew cannot even attest to being as useful as that. Was Wren way too naive and prude for my liking at the beginning of this book? Definitely. Did I have to get over it and force myself to not let her entire personality bother me? 100% - but you know what? It was worth it —- At first i really didn’t like her, but as the story went on and she started thinking for herself, making her own decisions and doing what she wanted to do - I started liking her more and more and I definitely enjoyed seeing her character develop the way it did. she wears that word proudly through her purity ring, a promise she made to her father that she would only break once she is married. a good girl through and through, she is idolized by her younger peers, until her friends start to grow up and make their own choices. An early birthday present for my Birdy. A million kisses in your lifetime, from me to you. Love, Crew" stalks wren by going to an art show she was supposed to attend with her family, but they ditched her, so he gives her company instead, and urges her to be confident and buy a painting she likes.
