About this deal

30fps (JPEG: 29 frames, Lossless compression RAW: 17 frames, Uncompressed RAW: 17 frames) At the time of testing we were still waiting for Adobe to support the X100V's raw files, but the latest version of Capture One does, and also does a superb job – Phase One and Fujifilm have close ties these days. Our sample images received only slight editing, except where indicated. Video Shutter Speed Electronic Shutter P mode: 4sec to 1/32000 A mode: 30sec to 1/32000 S/M mode: 15min to 1/32000 Bulb mode: 1sec Fixed Mechanical Shutter Approx. 3.0fps (JPEG: endless, Lossless compression RAW: 34 frames, Uncompressed RAW: 21 frames)

Up to Approx. 11fps (JPEG: 38 frames, Lossless compression RAW: 17 frames, Uncompressed RAW: 17 frames) The hybrid viewfinder is more accurate than ever with 3.69 million dots, being an excellent solution for Street photography. The 1.62 million dots, 3 inch rear touchscreen is very versatile, displaying all pertinent shooting information, along with tap focus, providing a useful solution for discrete street and other genres of photography. Body Design Approx. 10fps [Only electronic shutter, 1.25 x Crop] (JPEG: 153 frames, Lossless compression RAW: 18 frames, Uncompressed RAW: 18 frames)

Fujifilm X100V Compact Digital Camera in detail

The Fuji X100v has won virtually every comparison test with the GRIII. The lens is faster and sharper. It shoots FAR faster and has superior ergonomics and an amazing viewfinder. It handles like a real camera and is nicely sealed with a simple screw on filter that has no effect on the size.Classic retro vintage camera styling. This isn’t purely a matter of cosmetics – aping the look of classic film cameras means control dials on the top plate and an aperture ring on the lens. It makes for a much more tactile photographic experience than delving around in menus. While Fujifilm is the master of retro-styled cameras, there are a few chic alternatives from the likes of Nikon and Olympus, as we’ll see. The UR-232R2 Wired Shutter Release Cable Remote Control for Fujifilm is a standard cable release featuring autofocus, single shooting, continuous shooting and bulb shooting functions. Advanced Filter Toy camera, Miniature, Pop color, High-key, Low-key, Dynamic tone, Soft focus, Partial color (Red/ Orange/ Yellow/ Green/ Blue/ Purple) We were spoiled when Fujifilm brought us the Fujifilm X100F, but when it comes to this newer model, Fujifilm have smashed it out the park. The X100V model builds off the excellent body of its predecessor and improves on it by incorporating a larger and more powerful 26.1 MP X-Trans CMOS 4 Image Sensor that offers an ISO range from 160 to 12800 (Expandable from 80 to 51200). The integrated fixed 23mm F2 lens is constructed from 8 elements in 6 groups, including 2 aspherical elements. It features a 9-bladed aperture diaphragm that can produce smooth and attractive bokeh. Other features include Fujifilm's advanced hybrid viewfinder, a 3" tilting LCD touchscreen and the capacity to capture some stunning 4K video. This compact, yet rugged camera is truly versatile and will not fail to impress!

We can't help but be impressed with the classic design and workings found on the Fuji X100V, being a happy marriage between form and function. Many aspects of the camera have been improved, such as a new and more optically efficient lens, coming in at 23mm with an f/2 aperture. Mechanical Shutter Approx. 6.0fps (JPEG: 220 frames, Lossless compression RAW: 21 frames, Uncompressed RAW: 18 frames) The Muziri Kinokoo PU Leather Case for the Fujifilm X100V comes with a shoulder strap for easy carrying. At just 150g the case is lightweight while providing protection to your camera without the need for a full-size camera bag, and for convenience there’s bottom access for changing the battery and memory card. The X100-series has always been a favorite among the DPReview staff, and for some good reasons; these cameras produce wonderful images, they're beautifully designed and are engaging to use. For those that have been eyeing some or other version of X100 over the years but never taken the plunge, this latest model is arguably the one to get. But for owners of previous X100 models, should the V tempt you to upgrade? Let's find out. Enhanced for better resolution, lower distortion, this lens is a significant step up from the ones used in past X100 Series cameras, but still maintains the same overall size and compatibility with legacy WCL/TCL conversion lens, while retaining its internal 4-Stop ND filter.
