About this deal

As far as price is concerned, the Thermaltake TH120 is an absolute bargain. It’s one of the most affordable 120mm AIO coolers, and on top of that, it comes with a 3-year manufacturer warranty. Analitikai sütik Ezek az Ön tevékenységeinek nyomon követésére szolgálnak adatelemzés céljából, mint például a reklámozás hatékonyságának értékelése, személyre szabott tartalom felajánlása./span> The massive copper base plate, powerful fans and aluminum radiators in different sizes make the Arctic Liquid Freezer II a good choice. Arctic has built, thus far, a good product. We need to see how it does long-term, as Enermax has scared us away from firm recommendations on thermals alone. We would recommend the Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280 as a go-to solution over competing liquid coolers, based on thermal and acoustic performance, although we’d also note that most proven (e.g. Asetek, CoolIT) coolers will perform similarly. If you want RGB LEDs, you’re mostly just paying more for them, but should be in the ballpark for performance.

Radiator Dimensions: 153 x 120 x 27mm / 6.0 x 4.7 x 1.1” | Fan Dimensions: 120 x 120 x 25mm / 4.7 x 4.7 x 1” | Fan Speed: Up to 1500 RPM | Noise Volume: Up to 28.2 dBA | Warranty: 3 years

The RGB lights on the pump and fan interface with an RGB-compatible motherboard or can be manipulated with the included controller. If RGB isn’t your thing, this cooler still looks sleek with the lights off, thanks to the matte finish. The ASUS ROG Strix LC 120 scores high marks for its looks. The RGB lights are very tastefully done and decorate only the pump head. Another interesting feature of the pump head is its tabbed design, making it look like a gear. It’s a nice touch that speaks to the hardiness of this AIO cooler. A 120 mm Arctic P12 model is used as a fan, which was specially developed for use on radiators. The 120 millimeter fan ensures a strong air flow at a maximum of 1,800 rpm. Thanks to the 4-pin PWM connection, the fan only rotates as fast as the temperature development on the CPU requires. Priced at the mid-range, this cooler skips out on the RGB LEDs that more expensive options provide. That may be a disappointment for some, especially those looking to color-match their cooler with the rest of their build. The Corsair logo on the pump is a bright white LED light that can’t be turned off while the cooler is powered, another minor disappointment.

Quality-wise, this ASUS AIO is great. The pump is made completely out of aluminum, while the cold plate is highly-conductive copper. Its hoses are sleeved in nylon and are incredibly durable. You’ll be very impressed with the quality of the Strix LC 120. This shows the delta in height, measured in microns, from a calibrated 0-point. The A500’s box plot shows the largest range, illustrating the chaotic levelness that hurt its performance, while the Deepcool Assassin III and original Wraith coolers have some of the best levelness. The Arctic Liquid Freezer II averaged about 8-10 microns depth from the 0-point, with minimums and maximums at 2 microns and 48 microns. The Liquid Freezer II has a couple deep points in the coldplate, but is overall closer to the smooth end than the unlevel end. Installation & Mounting

Radiator Dimensions: 120 x 120 x 30mm / 4.7 x 4.7 x 1.2” | Fan Dimensions: 120 x 120 x 25mm / 4.7 x 4.7 x 1” | Fan Speed: 1800 RPM +/- 10 % | Noise Volume: Up to 32.1 dBA | Warranty: 5 years It falls just short of the incredibly high bar set by the Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML120R RGB. You’ll love the ASUS ROG Strix LC 120 AIO cooler if you have a powerful machine but are hard-pressed to make space for a cooler with a larger form factor. Coming at a premium price, you’ll notice this is on the high end for a cooler of this form factor. But to make things better, Corsair offers a 5-year warranty should something go awry with it.

While the thermal paste application means installation isn’t quite as beginner-friendly as some other coolers on the market, it’s still a painless process. Not a big deal since laying the board flat on the table bypasses it, but this could be even easier if Arctic refined the solution with cap screws. On the installation front, buyers should also be aware of the short cables for the fans. They can be connected to the splitter cable (which is sleeved alongside the tubes), but we prefer connecting our fans directly to the motherboard to exercise more control over the fans. This is easily solved with some 4-pin-to-4-pin extension cables. Conclusion On the software side of things, the Corsair H60 doesn’t support Corsair Link, so you’ll have to configure the cooler via BIOS. This is marginally disappointing, given the cost of this AIO. Tier 3: These coolers are able to keep the i9-12900K under TJ max with CPU power limits of 140W enforced. Testing Methodology

As usual with the ROG product line, this cooler also comes at a premium price. However, it’s worth the money, given its performance and RGB integration. To be fair, though, it’s slightly more affordable than the rather pricey MasterLiquid ML120R RGB. Asus also offers a 5-year warranty, beating CoolerMaster in another department. However, premium things come with a premium price tag, as the ML120R is one of the more expensive AIO coolers in its class. Of course, you’ll get a lot of features at this price point, and Cooler Master includes a 2-year warranty as well. If you think of it as competing against coolers with larger form factors, and you should because of its performance, then this cooler actually represents great value. Altogether, this Thermaltake 120mm AIO is an incredible cooler. You won’t find a cooler with more RGB LED support if that happens to be your thing. You’ll have tons of customization options for those lights as well.

Coming at more than a fair price and featuring a 6-year warranty, this cooler is an incredible bargain given its price and performance. As far as software is concerned, the Kraken M22 is compatible with NZXT Cam. This software lets you adjust the fan’s RPM and the RGB LED configuration. It’s quite simple and straightforward and allows you a great deal of control. In fact, the RGB controls are some of the most intuitive you’ll find. Unfortunately, STS Tutorial didn’t record any objective measurements of the Arctic’s noise levels. But considering that Gamers Nexus measured the M22 at 45.8 dBA, we can deduce that the Arctic’s noise levels are in the mid-30s dBA. While stress testing in Cinebench, I run both with power limits removed and with an enforced 200W CPU power limit. In this test setup I’m using MSI’s z690 A Pro DDR4 Motherboard and Be Quiet’s Silent Base 802 Computer Case. Only the best coolers are able to pass Cinebench testing when power limits are removed.

That is mighty impressive for a cooler with such a small form factor. Unfortunately, the fan was working overtime during these tests and was quite loud. Radiator Dimensions: 157 x 119.6 x 27mm / 6.2 x 4.7 x 1.1” | Fan Dimensions: 120 x 120 x 25mm / 4.7 x 4.7 x 1” | Fan Speed: 650 ~ 2000 RPM +/- 10 % | Noise Volume: 6 ~ 30 dBA | Warranty: 2 years
