The Greenwood Airvac CV2GIP Unity is a white round IPX5 mains voltage continuous running de-centralised MEV fan with humidistat and adjustable overrun timer and is suitable for wall or ceiling mounting in bathrooms, WCs or kitchens, in apartments or houses. An extractor fan can run for as long as it is needed, provided that it has the appropriate power supply. Most extractor fans come with a built-in thermostat that allows you to set and monitor the amount of time the fan is running. This helps reduce energy consumption and ensures that the fan doesn’t become too hot during operation. If left on continually, it is important to ensure ventilation is maintained in the form of fresh air entering rooms, as extracting air may cause problems such as pressurisation and extraction that impair the control of room temperatures.
