The broad-headed skink (Plestiodon laticeps) is native to the southeastern United States and is the largest of the Plestiodon skinks. This skink can grow up to 9 inches or 33 centimeters. Its tail and the body section close to its tail are mostly yellow to tan. Dark yellow spots are seen along its tail as well as on its mid-dorsum. This sunscreen is rated as SPF 50+ and broad spectrum, with 80 minutes water resistance which is the highest allowed level in US. Habitat: The sand lizard is very rare and can only be found on a few sandy heaths in Dorset, Hampshire and Surrey with a few reintroduced populations in the south east, south west and Wales. White lipped pit vipers have two colourations, some are a brilliant bright green, and some are the gorgeous soft blue shown in the photo above. Like all pit vipers, these snakes have venom they use to defend themselves and subdue their food. Their main food consists of birds, small frogs, and smallmammals. The tail of the species has the same bright blue nuance as the body but shows dark blue banding. A darker blue band is also visible on the mid-dorsum.
