Mother Nature, my Spirit Guide, Guardian Angels, and Spirits of the Earth, I ask for your help and guidance. In this day and age, the great appeal of archival material is in its ability to draw specific pieces of history outside of the mainstream. And for some of us, there is another level of appeal: the window it provides into the methods of those who bring the material into our view. That’s what drew us to the work of Rome-based Union Editions publisher Giandomenico Carpentieri, with its latest book Tart Cards – a printed edition of Francesca Bianchi’s collection of sex workers’ cards she found in London between 1990 and 1991. The Tarocco Bolognese omits numeral cards two to five in plain suits, leaving it with 62 cards, and has somewhat different trumps, not all of which are numbered and four of which are equal in rank. It has a different graphical design than the two above as it was not derived from the Tarot of Marseilles. a b c Lister, Kate (17 October 2018). Now imagine a pearl-white light emanating from your heart, enveloping your body and illuminating the area around you - brightening all shadows and darkness. Visualize a purple shimmer rippling through the white light as it calms and protects you. Know you are safe - grounded to the Earth and shielded by warm, loving, joyous light. Tart cards are cards advertising the services of prostitutes. They are found in many countries, usually in capital cities or red-light districts. Originating in the 1960s, the cards are placed in locations such as newsagents' windows or telephone boxes. Alternatively they are handed out or dropped in the street. Legal action is sometimes taken against their use. Illustrated tart cards from the 1980s and 1990s have come to be regarded as examples of sub-cultural accidental art. This simple act of envisioning your desired relationship then has a subtle, yet powerful, effect on your ability to find new love, and instead of waiting around for someone to find you, you are empowered to take action and find them. Although a Dominican preacher inveighed against the evil inherent in playing cards, chiefly because of their use in gambling, in a sermon in the 15th century, [20] no routine condemnations of tarot were found during its early history. If this sounds too "newagy" for you, close your eyes and breathe in and out slowly ten times and think about something wonderful that makes you happy. When I tell people that I read and teach Tarot cards for a living, one of the first questions they ask me is, “What are Tarot cards and how do they actually work?” Parlett, David. Speaking to Misty reveals some truths about the graffiti and how they relate to your story. The Minor Arcana represents the smaller in-the-moment parts of life. It is composed of four suits: Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles. As mentioned above, each of these suits represent an element and, therefore, one of the four zodiac signs. Well, here is where things might be a little more “out there” and magical. You see, we are all connected to a collective, universal wisdom and our inner wisdom. And when we read the Tarot cards—and connect with our intuition—we can tap into this universal wisdom. It's a little like connecting in with the collective mind, not just the individual mind. Asking Questions for Others

The Pentacles suit in the Tarot represents the element of earth and all earth signs: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn. The most powerful way to read the Tarot is to use the cards to access your intuition and your inner wisdom. The imagery in the cards give you instant access to your subconscious mind and your intuition. And from this place of inner power and wisdom, you can discover how to make positive changes now so you can manifest your goals and your dreams in the future. For Example…
