About this deal

Obviously as the Sky Q is wideband and goes over the top of the TV frequency band so satellite diplexers of any kind can be used. … If have a quad or an Octo feeding two separate dwellings, you would need now to install separate satellite dishes. Will sky fit a hybrid LNB? Just trying to get my head around how a wideband LNB works, sorry i'm getting a bit confused about this, if someone can advise in laymans terms please, i'm no engineer! But very interested in this.

Every LNB off the production line has a different noise figure because of manufacturing tolerances. The noise figure quoted in the specifications, important for determining the LNB's suitability, is usually representative of neither that particular LNB nor the performance across the whole frequency range, since the noise figure most often quoted is the typical figure averaged over the production batch. The BBC do have encrypted content, but it is not and never has been aimed at the UK. BBC-HD had a encrypted subscription version (with a very high bitrate) aimed at Scandinavia at the same time as the FTA service started from 28.2E. Combiners only feature one satellite input, so you won’t be able to connect vertical and horizontal polarized services at the same time.Inverto - IDLU-UWT110-CUO1O-32P -". www.inverto.tv. Archived from the original on 2016-08-20 . Retrieved 2016-07-01. One of the main reasons Sky Q is so popular is that you can install multiple boxes around the house without having to use extra cable. Currently, there’s no way to tell whether or not Freesat is working on this. I’ve sent a request in to the company and will update this when I have a proper answer. Also suitable for use with Triax Sky Q™ multiswitches. Use a twin cable. No need to use a quatro LNB.

Is the BBC2 (just as an example) that you receive on 28 degrees east for Freesat the same BBC2 that you receive for SKY+HD and SKYQ ?? is it the same channel frequency that you can look up on 'king of sat' for all three? or are there 3 different BBC2 frequencies on 28 degrees east, one for each format freesat, sky+hd and skyQ? The satellite signal from these satellites is transmitted in any number of frequencies from about 10 GHz to 13 GHz. The signal is basically a sine wave with information imposed on it. The signals can be polarised in either vertical or horizontal directions.. very similar to ordinary TV where you sometimes see the antenna pointing slats down.... An antenna set for vertical will not detect a horizontal signal and vice versa... .inside the lnb there are tiny prongs set for vertical or horizontal At the same time, this LNB is designed to oscillate signals down to a frequency of about 300Mhz. This is in stark contrast to Quad Style LNBs, which will normally only go as low as 950Mhz. The use of separate cables to provide separate channels and the extra available bandwidth means there is no need for LNB switching to access all the channels. With the skyq wideband LNB it only has the vert/hor outputs (how can you tell which output is which? and which to connect to which input on a skyq digibox) Where on earth do you get this guff ? SES Astra own and maintain the satellites at 28.2E. They are responsible for maintaining the positions so they do not bang into each other. All the satellites have small thrusters used to maintain the orbit. Generally the satellite life is restricted by having to retain enough propellant to move them to a safe parking orbit at the end of the service life. They rent transponder space to broadcasters. My next mission is to get into the loft so I can follow the cables and see how easy it will be to tap the feed from the newer digital aerial to the cable in the living room.
