Here’s the thing that makes it next-level: Survival 30 is much more than a sunscreen. There are actually four Survival formulas — sunscreen-free Survival 0 and three with sun protection.

If you've ever used a skincare, makeup or beauty product that's made your skin look and feel smoother tempoarily - it's likely contained Silicone. They are a popular class of ingredients found in cosmetics due to their smooth, soft, easy-to-spread and smooth properties that help creates an artificial layer/barrier on top of skin or hair (commonly found in conditioners). What I loved about it is that I knew it would be a great formula and knew that it would be inexpensive, making a terrific sunscreen product accessible to more people than ever. I was right about that. Not as hydrating as the skin aqua super moisture gel, but close.Potential con: I've read some people anecdotally notice getting sun with this product. I haven't noticed this, but I honestly avoid the sun as much as possible. I'd love to hear from those who experience this! Waterproof: I wore this on a day that had intermittent light mist (not even a drizzle or drops of rain), but it seemed to hold up acceptably. No streaking of the product or how invisible products become more opaque when wet.

The Silicone-free label only includes the most common Silicone ingredients that have indentified been reported by individuals that could potentially cause issues. Waterproof and sweat-resistant formula makes it perfect for use for outdoor sports and leisure activities. Anyway, it doesn't matter if it reflects or absorbs, Titanium Dioxide is a pretty awesome sunscreen agent for two main reasons: it gives a nice broad spectrum coverage and it's highly stable. Its protection is very good between 290 - 350 nm (UVB and UVA II range), and less goodat 350-400 nm (UVA I) range. Regular sized Titanium Dioxide also has a great safetyprofile, it's non-irritating and is pretty much free from any health concerns (like estrogenic effect worries with some chemical filters). Dark Spot Sun Defense contains a Melatonin Defense Complex made up of melatonin, antioxidants, three forms of Vitamin C and Vitamin E to protect skin from free radical damage and pollution.I’m happy to report, though, that it’ll sink in completely after about 20mins. Then it’ll have the most wonderful, silky, skin-like finish I’ve encountered this year. Keep in mind, though, that the finish depends on what skincare products you use underneath it. If I apply a moisturizer over my serum, the Skin Aqua don’t vanish as tracelessly as before. Application: While not streaky, it definitely tended to...coalesce... around my peach fuzz and stubble. As a result, please note this is only an experimental label that can be best used to possible identify problematic products you have used in the past. It is in no way a perfect identifier nor a predictor in whether or not it will exacerbate or cause fungal acne. It will continue to be worked on as more information and research comes to light.
