About this deal

You agree to indemnify and hold Space NK (and its officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries, joint ventures, employees and third-party service providers, including but not limited to Bazaarvoice, Inc.), harmless from all claims, demands, and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of a breach of your representations and warranties set forth above, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party. Skin tints tend to range from sheer to medium coverage. While you can occasionally find formulas that offer more, they’re harder to find. Plus, they require a closer shade match since you’re concealing more of your natural skin tone, and that can be hard to find among skin tints, which generally have a more basic range. Skin tints offer skincare-minded perks, and it’s absolutely worth factoring these in when you’re shopping for one. For Tiller, hydration is a must and you’ll often find it courtesy of humectants, such as hyaluronic acid and glycerin. Also common in skin tints are botanical oils, like squalane and jojoba, which moisturize skin as you wear them. What We Don’t Love: It only has SPF 15, so you’ll definitely need to supplement this with a sunscreen that offers a higher SPF. What We Love: It’s one of the few skin tints to offer medium to full coverage without adding weight.

Once the temps start heating up, switching up your makeup routine to match it is key. Swap out your full-coverage foundation for one of the best skin tints or serum foundations to give your skin a breather (and maybe some added sun protection too). In the past two years, no-makeup-makeup, which emphasizes Zoom-friendly, skin-first makeup routines, has broken into the beauty zeitgeist. With that comes low-maintenance, dewy serum-like foundations and tints. We love these innovative products because they feature lightweight formulas and skin-loving ingredients like peptides and hyaluronic acid—without sacrificing coverage. Key Ingredients: One of the best things about skin tints — and something that sets them apart from other complexion products — is that so many of them are infused with skin care ingredients. In this regard, think about what your skin loves when you’re applying your skin care products and translate that into the skin tint products you choose. For example, if you can’t live without niacinamide, then go for a skin tint that includes it. If hyaluronic acid serums are a staple in your routine, seek that out in a formula.

that is, or may reasonably be considered to be submitted in extreme volumes and as such be deemed as ‘spam’; But what is a skin tint, I hear you ask? Way more lightweight than your classic foundation, a skin tint is exactly what you'd expect: a low-maintenance, barely there hint of colour and coverage that evens out skin tone but lets your natural complexion shine through. If, like me, you're used to applying base products as a way of covering up breakouts or redness, then here's a word of warning: skin tints do no such thing. But there's been something thrilling about embracing skin tints as a way to show off the bits of my skin that I do like rather than thinking of makeup as a means to camouflage. And make no mistake—the best skin tints really do leave your complexion looking great, spots and all! Housed in a chic roller pen, Milk Makeup's Sunshine Skin Tint Broad Spectrum SPF 30 provides weightless light coverage, moisturises with natural oils for a dewy finish, and protects with coral reef-safe broad spectrum SPF 30 sunscreen. If you're a fan of brands like Trinny London and Glossier, this will be right up your street, with lightweight, skin-first products that deliver a radiant and effortless glow. There’s one big downside with this formula, though — the range of shades is far from inclusive, dropping off at a medium-deep hue. While the sheerness of skin tints makes them more forgiving with color-matching, it’s still a little disappointing, not to mention challenging for those with deeper skin. When you’re looking for skin tints, keep your skin type in mind. Dry skin? Look for formulas with added oils like avocado oil and hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid. If you have oily or acne-prone skin, non-comedogenic options are best, because they won’t clog your pores. You might also want added clearing ingredients like niacinamide. Choosing a lightweight skin tint that has added SPF (30+, please!) is also an excellent idea for the spring and summer months. This skin tint uses a blend of botanical face oils (like grapeseed, jojoba, avocado, and mandarin oils) to moisturize skin while you wear it, which is a win-win in our book. It gets other skincare advantages from barrier-fortifying squalane and broad-spectrum SPF 30 — all while being free of silicones and, magically, non-comedogenic, which is ideal for the acne-prone among us. In the summer, when you want to apply fewer products, a really hydrating tinted moisturiser can replace your traditional moisturiser so you’re not layering too many steps. So your routine would look like this: cleanser, serum, SPF and then tinted moisturiser. Because despite having skincare benefits, this still sits firmly in your makeup bag and therefore should always be applied over your SPF.

that violates any law, statute, ordinance or regulation (including, but not limited to, those governing export control, consumer protection, unfair competition, anti-discrimination or false advertising);Whether the formula can be layered is another factor to consider; this means that applying more will increase the amount of coverage. “I prefer my tint to be very light in coverage — bonus points if it’s buildable,” says Blunder.

Marc Reagan is one of our favorite kinds of multihyphenates: a professional makeup artist with more than 18 years of experience painting the world’s most beautiful faces, and currently the executive director, global artistry and consumer experience at Bobbi Brown. What testers say:“I normally wear Nars tinted moisturizer for every day, but I really like Hourglass so thought I would try. This is very nice and it’s light so you can build the color if you need some extra cover. It’s much lighter to wear than the other Hourglass bases but it stays put, just remember to give it a good shake before you use it!” verifyErrors }}{{ message }}{{ /verifyErrors }}{{ Part of that magic is white sage extract, which can help nix the appearance of redness, making inflamed blemishes less visible at the source. Plus, "it's hydrating, has medium coverage, and has SPF — my musts," says celebrity makeup artist Andréa Tiller, whose clients include Ariana Debose and Olivia Palermo. "The color range is beautiful and it stays put all day."

What testers say:“This is just a lovely serum sunscreen moisture for the first thing every day. I just love this product. Have told all my friends, and even my 88 year old Mum is wearing it. Thanks, Trinny.” And with the National Eczema Association's Seal of Acceptance, you can trust that it’s safe for sensitive skin types, too. Because skin tints aim to give off a no-makeup makeup look, it’s important that you find the right one for your skin type and tone. While cosmetic chemist Ni’Kita Wilson agrees skin tints are ideal for most skin types because of their weightless feel and easy application, she says “to look at formulas to see whether it would cause irritation or not” when seeking out the one that’s best for you. Saie made waves when it debuted this skin tint, which is so good that one InStyle writer counts on it for her everyday look. “I put it on and still looked like me, just a little bit better,” she says. The pros agree with her take, too. “It also has a beautiful, skin-like finish — and it’s also clean,” says celebrity makeup artist Monika Blunder, who counts Gemma Chan and Amanda Seyfried among her clients and founded her own makeup line. “It’s one I feel good about wearing every day, and it doesn’t settle into fine lines or wrinkles.” While it's not a one-to-one swap for a full-coverage foundation, this formula still offers more pigment than its peers, making it ideal if you have more to conceal. You can tell the difference just in the texture, which is an airy cream that's easy to blend. It's also infused with pearlescent pigments, which give skin a soft-focus, radiant finish, as well as the brand's Hyaluronan Complex. The latter harnesses a form of hyaluronic acid that's able to plump deep lines and wrinkles, giving skin a smoother appearance almost instantly.
