However, baby yoda is drawn in a way that is so damn ugly its hard just looking at him he looks like a dried up stewie griffin that has been turned into a goblin, I'd take that animatronic puppet any day. Or why they would want to watch the show after reading it, since they're now caught up on the first half of the first season. I also wish there were "more" added (inner dialogues, not-seen scenes) than just the drawn visuals of shown visuals the audience has already visualized with their vision.I think it would be better to maybe have extra scenes or new adventures as a comic for the mandalorian, and I think adapting the show into a comic is completely redundant and lazy.

Suitable for readers aged 8+, the graphic novel also includes extra features on characters and backstory. Barnes does a respectable job with the script and Jeanty’s artwork is gorgeous, but the nature of the show simply doesn’t work as a comic. It's a graphic novel adaptation of the first part of Season 1, which I guess is a nice refresher for those who watched it but don't want to rewatch it, but because it's mostly new characters, I don't know why someone who hadn't watched the show would pick it up.
