MPC builds onto its lineup of 14” Eagles by adding the popular “laboratory pod” along with the powerful spine booster. There are several actions that could trigger this block including submitting a certain word or phrase, a SQL command or malformed data. A second model, Eagle w/Lab Pod, is a version of the Eagle with a lab pod (as seen in The Metamorph); this first came out in 2003.

I would have liked to have had more prominent colour boxes/textures/shading added, to be more like the filming models, there are a few shaded boxes on the model but the colour is too close to the base colour so they hardly show in these photos.Sold in a bubble pack, with red and black card art (series logo and rescue Eagle over lunar surface, art by Graham Bleathman). Accuracy varies greatly, as does the quality of the casting (resin is prone to air bubbles, which can be difficult to fix).

It was the most expensive show ever made at the time, with the most realistic visual effects ever seen on the small screen.The stun gun features a working slide stun/kill button and both the stun gun and comlock are hollow to provide space for custom electronics and lighting. I've bought some black photographic sheeting to hang behind my models when photographing them, but I've not got around to trying it yet.

The legs won’t feature springs, but there will be two sets of legs in “landed” and “flying” positions. This model is a very impressive display piece and is a must if you really want to show off your Eagle Transporter.

I painted them flat black and installed the parts along with the flying display piece for the stand.
