I tested this a few times already at Sephora,comparing it to Legend Intense theyre similar to a degree but night goes a step further having a more elegant smell than the intense version which to my nose is stronger than this one,the dry down smells nice but don't expect longevity on this one ,all in all i like it a lot and i'll pick it up but i just wish it had better projection and longevity. I decided to sample it as I have heard that it's a good alternative to Eros, however I would more compare it to The One EDP (which I also own a bottle of) this one is a little bit more budget friendly and is a little more minty in the opening (maybe that's why it's considered Eros-like) but I may slightly prefer The One. The two are certainly not identical (Legend Night is sweeter), but they both cover the same occasions - and the gradient colors of the bottle even looks like The One, so clearly they were going for something similar.

But it does die down a bit after an hour, but if you take a 2ml/5ml decant with you then you can top yourself up half way through your date and then, boom, your longevity problem has been sorted. Violet peeks through to add a touch of sharp, florals along with resinous pine/fir that keeps this going masculine. It lasted okay, stayed close and I was surprised just how long the drydown lasted and just how nice the resulting kinda spiced rum/vanilla that remained was. In the fragrance world very few times monikers make any sense, and this perfume is one of the most fortunate exceptions… “night” is exactly what comes to mind when I smell this fragrance… a very fun night out! I feel I need to qualify my thoughts on the house, I liked Mont Blanc for many years when they were mainstream but somewhat in the wilderness so to speak, and actually reminded me a lot of Dunhill, mainly uninspiring yet solid fare with a couple of really good releases, that was up until legend and it’s flankers. Absolutely love this fragrance - bought it without trying first in the recommendation of a friend and I'm glad I did.

It's in the same sort of group as YSL's Nuit de l'homme, but as that now performs so badly, I'd say this is a good alternative. Legend Night has a more cream soda like opening than any of the higher end fragrances people are comparing it to and dries down to be entirely different. Love the scent but I have to echo some of the reviews I've read here by saying that although the scent is phenomenal the projection and performance are a bit lack luster.
