The lawn food solution is pale green to start with so how you are supposed to distinguish between pale green and very pale green I do not know. For the best results and a beautiful, lush garden, we recommend feeding with LiquaFeed® Plant Food every 7-14 days. You can switch between a shower or stream, allowing for precise application, whether you're targeting a single plant or covering a larger area.
A1: The Feeder is designed to use Miracle-Gro® All Purpose Soluble Plant Food, Miracle-Gro® Azalea, Camellia and Rhododendron Soluble Plant Food and Miracle-Gro® Water Soluble Lawn Food.The feeder is configurable for feed and water or just water, so there's no need to remove it between feeds. If using the Universal Feeder with a drip irrigation system, we recommend using enough emitters to produce a minimum of 12 gallons per hour outflow. The Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder has truly transformed my gardening experience, and I can't recommend it enough. Yes, running water through the watering device and hose for 5 second per 25 foot length of hose will flush out any remaining plant food.
Does the LiquaFeed® Universal Feeder require different LiquaFeed® refill bottles than the ones used with LiquaFeed® Advance Starter Kit? I've also used miracle gro for vegetables, but I don't use a sprayer, I soak the ground and just pour the powder where the hose goes into the water channels, so can't comment on that use. It comes with Miracle-Gro® All Purpose Soluble Plant Food which contains a unique mix of 10 nutrients carefully balanced to provide plants with essential nutrients required for optimum growth and flowering. Your refund will be processed within 14 days of reaching our warehouse using the same method that you paid with. If your child or pet does happen to ingest some of the LiquaFeed® plant food from the hose, there would not be adverse effects.If coverage is a big concern, just do a different pattern each time and go over areas more than once. The chemicals (Chlorine and sometimes Chloramine) can build in plant cells and cause toxicity in your plants with detrimental effects. This does not create the same concentration as if you hand mixed a bucket, but outside you have to put down more water than inside due to the higher evaporation and the water soaking into the surrounding soil which isn't such an issue in a potted plant. Pull the flexible packaging away from the neck of the bottle, and pull the taped bottom end away from the bottom the base. Just fill the jar with 500g of Miracle-Gro® soluble food, top up with water, attach to the hosepipe and away you go, feeding and watering at the same time!

Each bottle will feed approximately a 400 square foot area, but the time to empty each bottle will vary depending on the watering device and water pressure.
The one thing I don't like about this new model is it is now made in 2 pieces to add the spray control and water control. PLEASE NOTE: Turf, Wildflower Turf, Sedum Mats and bulk Bag products are delivered on a pallet and can only be delivered to the kerbside.
