The video opens with Minogue putting an 8-track tape in a stereo, and moves to moments with Minogue and back-up dancers dancing near a large cityscape; intercut scenes have Minogue in a blue room wearing colourful clothing. Some tracks from Minogue's discography were omitted from the album's original release, which sparked criticism; [5] as a result, a third disc contains eight additional songs from her catalogue, as well as a megamix of Minogue's work lasting more than 40 minutes. In the United States, the album reached number six on the Independent Albums chart, 32 on the Top Album Sales chart, and 23 on the Top Tastemaker Albums chart.

The album was made available in various formats, including a two-disc edition, a picture disc vinyl and five limited edition cassette formats. Commercially, the single experienced success in regions such as Australia, United Kingdom, Spain, Finland, and Ireland, whilst peaking inside the top 40 in countries like France, New Zealand, and Switzerland. The record also reached the top ten in Spain, Belgium, and Switzerland, as well as component charts in the United States.
