Bowie Beamheart comes in fantastic planet-ship-themed packaging which I think adds to the magic of the toy. Ours didn’t actually suck up – we poured our goo into a pyrex jug and poured it into the Regoovinator instead.

The kids and I had so much fun making the goo and filling up the doll’s belly, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the goo is to make and how easy everything was to clean up afterwards.Goo Pod inventory includes: 1 x large goo drop Doll1 x candy Comet1 x goo drop stand1 x Bowl1 x whisk1 x regoovinator 5 x glitter fills 2 x slime sachets 1 x passport 1 x glitter Seal sheet there are enough intergalactic ingredients to create two different customized Star goo's for Bowie! Using the reegoovinator (syringe) we began to fill up the doll by placing it in her mouth, this made such a funny slurping noise that made the kids laugh a lot. Everything is simple to clean and doesn’t get sticky everywhere and the doll can be played with as well as being interactive with the slime which makes it really good for multi purpose use. Bowie has a squashy body which is see-through and was easy to squeeze, her hard plastic head was good to grip onto while feeding as well.

The whole experience made me giggle and the interactive element gave me hours of play though make sure you get your adult to be prepared for a Goo-ey adventure!Everything seems to be slime related and for some reason the kids love making it, this time it was even more exciting because it’s not just slime making! She'll spit up her Star goo through her mouth and then you can refill her using the regoovinator again and again.

I had to hide the powder and bowl because Indi (and Fin) now wants to feed Bowie Beamheart at every meal! When the slime is of a wallpaper paste consistency, you’re meant to slowly suck the slime out of the bowl with the reGoovinator – aka syringe. When the adverts start appearing on television for multiple toys we know it’s starting to near Christmas and one toy that was on Erin’s list was a Goo Goo Galaxy Doll and she was so excited when we were sent one to test in exchange for an honest review. We all had fun giving her a good squish and watching the goo move about inside her before removing the Candy Comet and squishing her to make her do a ‘Comet Vomit’. What’s nice is that you can reuse the box afterwards for imaginative play and rocket off into space with Bowie Beamheart.

When I first saw it, I thought they’d think it was cute and play with it for a few minutes, but this range has been a huge hit. Her ship contains everything you need to make custom cosmos creations including a bowl, whisk, regoovinator, stand and more! To get the Star Goo out, remove the Candy Comet and squeeze Bowie's belly to see her do a 'Comet Vomit'! You see, as an incurably hopeless, wish-upon-a-star daydreamer, when my first baby boy came into my life, I swiftly realised that being the parent you thought you would be, and creating family memories to treasure in the way you imagined before your baby was born [and keeping you awake all night] is a real challenge. The comet vomit was a great touch and much appreciated by my 5 year old who currently loves anything vomit or poo related. Unlike other dolls, Slurp ‘n’ Slime Goo Drop has a soft and see-through body that you can fill with slime via the mouth, then squeeze to make her sick!

The Candy Comet fits perfectly into the mouth to prevent the slime from pouring out when you’re not on a squeezing mission.
