About this deal

With a small dedicated team of LEGO fans serving your needs, we're sure you wont find a better or more friendly service anywhere else online. The eyes are not possible due to the requirement to use Brickheadz eyes, so they really should’ve included a mouth tile. I think Aragorn and Arwen and Gandalf and the Balrog look great, but they got Frodo’s hair completely wrong and it looks terrible! If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag.

Very true to the Brickheadz concept with some great custom prints and really nice shaping (especially on the beards). That said, Gollum does work when placed alongside the other Lord of the Rings Brickheadz, especially Frodo, you can tell that it’s Gollum. LEGO has published the product listings for the upcoming LEGO Lord of the Rings BrickHeadz that are set to be released on Jaunary 1. The focus of these sets seems to be pairs of characters that have some sort of connection to each other.

I have an idea in development it’s a small system set of 30€-40€ but it’s one of those I consider a “must have” type of sets 😅 hope this makes sense. It’s really hilarious how bad Gollum looks, as he really nails the naked tan-baby Brickheadz look, down to his the filthy brown loincloth covering Gollum’s precious. She does have a printed tile on her forehead to give her tiara some much-needed bling, but overall, this was a less-than-exciting character to build. It’s also sad to not get the other hobbits, but maybe if these sets do well, we’ll see them later on (and hopefully with better looking hair! Any further details on that model are few and far between at the moment, including whether it will be built in minifigure scale or microscale (or even a new and entirely different scale).

BrickHeadz has been particularly popular among adult fans of LEGO (AFOLs) and collectors due to their display-friendly nature, the wide range of characters, and the unique, recognizable style. The hilt is slightly more accurate to Sting, his Elven sword, but the shape of the blade is completely off. The Gollum figure is smaller to reflect the relative sizes of the two characters, and he is holding a fish – his favorite food. On top of all these features, LEGO designers gave him interesting facial hair that makes him have a stronger-than-usual jawline. As with other BrickHeadz, all of the detailing not achieved with elements is captured through printed parts, so there are no stickers. In The Two Towers, Gollum and Frodo’s paths cross in Ithilien, and Gollum becomes their guide to penetrate Mordor’s defences.
