About this deal

This chalk hill forms part of the North Downs, and is regarded as a site of special scientific interest due to it being home to a number of rare species of plants. Four years after the accident, a man on his way home to Rochester late at night, saw two pedestrians walking towards him, then suddenly disappear. Several accidents have been caused by sightings of a hunched-over figure limping at the side of the road along the Devil’s Highway. I would never look at it for more than a second and try not to even look at it in the corner of my eye. Two spring to mind as the most often reported - a phantom lorry that appears on the wrong side of the road and a mysterious hitchhiker who disappears whilst sitting in the vehicle of the person kind enough to have stopped and given him/her (accounts vary) a lift.

He says other ghosts had been spotted in the area and a taxi driver travelling between Blackburn and Bolton reported seeing the ghostly figure of an elderly woman with long hair sitting in the back seat of his taxi, when he was travelling along the same stretch of road. Others have said they have seen a woman walk through cars or even suddenly appear in front of their cars. Both times she has terrified people with her grotesque features and the palpable sense of evil which emanates from her. I'm not saying you couldn't make a magnet that would retain its properties under these conditions (modern materials are pretty clever in the world of magnets), but why would anyone want to?

Pluckley in Kent has been named one of the most haunted places in Britain by The Telegraph but it is questionable whether this is the only haunted area. The crime was a hanging offence and a few steps from the pub there was once a tree where highwaymen were hanged when convicted. The fact that it was a girl, her appearance in the vicinity of the 1965 crash, her vanishing after the incident, and the fact Goodenough’s car wasn’t damaged, all point to this conclusion. Unsure of what to do, he covered her with a blanket and tried to flag down another motorist to stop for help. The picture shows cars at a standstill and in the distance, what appears to be the outline of a person standing next to the central reservation.

The views from atop the moors are breathtaking, and there is a sense of achievement that comes from conquering such a challenging route. He stopped his car and rushed to the roadside to find the girl lying in the middle of the road with a gash in her forehead and cuts on her knees. Mystery of more than 50 'sightings' of ghostly British bride who died on eve of wedding Local legend has it that the ghost of 22-year-old bride Suzanne Browne, who died in a traffic accident on the eve of her wedding in 1965, haunts Blue Bell Hill. I was so scared to look underneath, but I knelt and looked straight through – there was nothing there”.When he came back with the police there was no sign of the seriously hurt woman and again nothing to suggest what had happened to her if she had been there in the first place. The number of people using mobile devices is rising, so casino games need to adapt to meet the demands of this growing demographic.
