About this deal
Choose between 25, 37, 49 or 61-key configurations to suit your specific playing style and space/travel requirements. This is a sort of cousin to the MPK the iconic Middi controller that everyone seems to love……… but broken down to the bare bones. So unfortunately, I think for most of these type of controllers……you’re just going to have to stick with wired controllers. Just to clarify, the MIDI controller does not have a fault as it works perfectly with all wired connections. I do use an adapter for the cable from UHost to Keyboard/s as I don't have the proper ones for direct connection but I haven't had problem with that earlier when I used it (USB-A Double Female).
The microKEY comes with a serious collection of powerful music software titles including popular special editions of KORG Gadget and KORG Module plus the KORG Legacy Collection offering five classic KORG instruments as plug-ins.On a related note, I have also read some reviews online that indicate these Bluetooth adapters work with some but not all MIDI keyboards. Painstaking tuning of the Bluetooth capabilities means high stability and low latency, no strings - or wires - attached. So if you’re interested in just looking intro controllers and different stuff for beatmaking/producing and all that, definitely check out his YT. And the volume slider, which is great for adjusting volumes on the fly without messing around with the touchscreen. While I have yet to test the MD-BT01, even if I do test it, that particular adapter cannot be tested with this MIDI controller as it requires MIDI In / Out ports which this MIDI controller does not have.
Painstaking tuning of the Bluetooth capabilities means high stability and low latency, no strings – or wires – attached. Mainly because of the easyscale functionality (learn more about that in the video below) and the keys.
With a slim design, at just over 1/2″ high (16mm) and weighing just 600g it is fully portable, and made for travelers and mobile users. This keyboard is full of many surprises……not a lot of users of them, but the people who do like them seem to really like them a lot.
