About this deal

this story follows waverly, a 17yr old girl from alaska staying with her aunt for the summer attempting to escape her divorced parents who have been fighting over who gets to have her for the summer, then comes blake, the super-hot next door neighbor and welcomes waverly into his circle of friends, as the two grow closer, waverly's fortunes begin to look up but every summer must come to an end, and letting go is hardest when you’ve finally found where you belong.

Waverly Lyons has been caught in the middle of her parents' divorce for as long as she can remember. Miyares shared in his interview with Jules at Seven Impossible Things Before Breakfast that he created the backdrop to feel rain-soaked and then cut shapes out of his painted textures to give the rain gear its sharp, slick feeling. Almost all of the wordless books I have highlighted have used a very simple concept and then allowed the illustrations to explode with the detailing.Ok so I it was only after I bought it that I realized it was written on wattpad buuttt despite that it was a super good and the main character was really relatable and I loved the plot will definitely be re-reading this during the summer time. although the plot itself was not all that riveting (alaska girl goes on vacation to florida, finds summer friends and a summer fling, and then she has to go back) the characters pull this entire work together. Characters like Jasper, and the twins, and Sylvia, and even Bump, were tethered to something of the inside looking out—wanting to tenderly remind Biz and us about how life is a mish mash of unconditional love. This is to simply put all the vividness, seaside, colors, a ghost of a father rescuing his daughter, and pockets of Australia that began to feel like a second home.

like teenagers put up a tough front at times, but are truly just looking for someone to listen and talk to. One main problem that I had was that the plot definitely felt a bit forced and rushed in some places, the timing wasn’t always super clear, and there was important information that was sometimes just skimmed over (such as completely omitting at one point Waverly actually learned how to swim), all of which made the pacing feel a little strange at times. While I love the expression of his style, I actually think the even more important part of the brilliance of the illustration is the strength of his color palette and execution.By using the Web site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions.

Blake also has a lot of issues with his stepmother in terms of both of them misunderstanding the other, and he finds out his girlfriend is cheating on him at the start of the book, so he has a lot of issues, but at least manages to not be super angsty over it for the most part.At first, the romance is rushed, but there are some sweet interactions between Waverly and Blake once the relationship has grown. I was also genuinely interested in the relationship between Blake and his stepmother, Chloe; both are doing their best but not really getting through to each other, and I just really love that subplot. I am a very poor float fisherman but am very very fond of it, and watching that float intently whilst thinking of nothing else is time well spent for me.

from waverly, to blake, to jesse, to lena, and even to alissa these characters had such unique personalities that blended perfectly together.
