When it comes to battery life, the Hollyland Lark M1 shines brightly. The microphone has been built to support long recording sessions without frequent recharging interruptions. Whether you’re a YouTuber spending hours creating content, a live streamer interacting with your audience, or a professional conducting lengthy interviews, you can rely on the Lark M1’s impressive battery life. It provides the durability you need, giving you the freedom to focus on your work without worrying about battery drains. Effortless iPhone Connection But the Lark M1 doesn’t stop at ease of use. It ensures that every recording you make on your iPhone, whether it’s the latest iPhone 13 or an earlier model like the iPhone XS Max, is of exceptional quality. The Lark M1 captures rich, detailed sound, enhancing your videos with audio that complements your visual content perfectly. In our modern, on-the-go lifestyle, efficiency and convenience have become more important than ever. We need our gadgets to keep up with us, and not the other way around. Hollyland understands this dynamic and has designed the Lark M1 with this mindset.

The Hollyland Lark M1 Duo kit is an ideal place to start when it comes to a wireless mic system. Firstly it’s comprehensive, with everything you need to get started included in the box. The small charging case is functional and does the job and arrives in a semi-hard case that keeps the charging case with a wireless mic system contained within, along with cables, all neatly together. Note 10, Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, Redmi Note 8T, Redmi Note 8, Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 7, Redmi 10X 4G, The receiver is nice and simple, with a 3.5mm audio out that links directly into your camera. There is no on-device audio monitoring, so headphones must be plugged directly into your camera. While I was reading the specifications of the Lark M1, one thing caught my attention – built-in noise cancellation. In real-life situations, when you’re shooting in a noisy place, this can play spoilsport to your audio. With the noise-canceling feature built into the transmitters, the Mark M1 can cut down on the ambient sound and transmit much better quality audio.

Hollyland Lark M1 Bluetooth Lavalier Microphone Installation Instruction

Ultra Lightweight and Compact. Lark M1 lapel microphone weighs only 0.42oz, a size smaller than a USB flash drive. You can’t even feel it when clipped on your shirt. The receiver is 0.62oz, and the charging case is 2.82oz. All the units can be stored in the case while still lightweight and compact. The ergonomic curved edge design and matte UV-painted surface make it look fashionable and comfortable to wear. The transmitter has a few buttons at most. There is a button for turning the device on and another one for pairing or noise cancellation. Even the receiver has also just a power button, a pairing/volume up button with settings for low, middle, and high, and a volume down/mode switch button between stereo and mono sound. When I first took the transmitter and the receiver out of the charging case they both powered up automatically indicated by a blue light on each device. They were instantly paired too, so there was no need to faff around looking for pairing instructions. My final test was to see how far away I could talk via the transmitter and still be heard. I asked around for the longest corridor in the building and was led to a massive flight of stairs. To my amazement I was able to walk to the bottom of the stairs and still be completely audible - even when I turned away from the camera and the transmitter lost line of sight with the receiver. No other mic I’ve tested would have performed as well in this scenario. Verdict

The Hollyland Lark M1 does more than just capture audio – it captures audio that meets the highest standards of quality. A critical component that sets the Lark M1 apart is its innovative HearClear noise cancellation technology. This is not just an embellishment to the device but a game-changing feature that significantly elevates the quality of your recordings. Once all set up and ready to go, I found the Hollyland Lark M1 to be a mix of pros and cons when recording. It’s capable of 48KHz and 16-bit audio over a 2.4GHz frequency with an advertised range of 200m (656ft). That claim is accurate if you have a perfect line between the mics and the receiver. If there’s any sort of interference, and you need to be quite a bit closer. That said, I still managed to get good quality without any recording loss from about 200ft away which, in all honesty, is plenty of distance for most users. Yes, the Lark M1 is a lightweight and easy-to-use product. If you’re looking for an entry-level wireless mic solution that’s cross-platform compatible, works with a number of devices, and offers the option to use a stereo mode, then the Lark M1 will no doubt surprise you with the spec list. The price point at which it’s sold is a major USP. There are not too many options at the same price point, which should make this product an attractive proposition for beginners and those on a budget. There is, however, a downside to this, though, and that’s in large halls and auditoriums, i.e., places where there are a lot of echoes, the noise-canceling mechanism can work to your disadvantage. It garbles the audio.Son super ligeros que no se siente el peso en la ropa honestamente, es algo que no me gustaba de los Rode Wireless GO II, estos siendo asi de pequeños tambien se disimula mas. Lightweight & Portable--Hollyland Lark M1 lavalier microphone weighs only 0.42oz with the size of a USB flash drive and fits all kinds of collars. The charging case takes 1.5h to charge the whole set and can charge them 2 times. TX and RX can work for 8 hours when fully charged. Each unit has a USB-C port for direct charging while working at the same time. The Hollyland Lark M1 is more than just a wireless microphone system. It’s an all-in-one solution for those who are serious about their audio. Its HearClear noise cancellation feature, combined with its wide compatibility and impressive transmission distance, puts it head and shoulders above many other devices in the market. Whether you’re a seasoned vlogger or just starting your audio journey, the Hollyland Lark M1 is an excellent choice for enhancing your sound recording experience. The charging case is made out of hard plastic. It has a solid feeling, and it’s pretty reassuring to hold in the hands. I would recommend that you do not use the charging box in a rough manner. Again, considering this is a budget, there has been some cutting or corners. But I don’t think that the quality has been compromised too much. In a few short years, the options for wireless mics have transformed, along with the prices. The RODE Wireless Mic GO and GO II really set the level and since their release, other companies have been hot on RODE’s heels with equally small, and cheap solutions.

The Lark M1 affordable wireless lavalier microphone is also capable of recording crystal-clear audio at a long transmission distance of up to 650ft (200m). All these features make the Lark M1 ideal for use in portable applications, such as on-location video shoots. Hollyland Lark M1 vs. Lark 150 A single blue or green solid light on the transmitters shows that the unit is connected to the receiver; if this light is flashing, it means it hasn’t connected. Through the test, the auto connection process worked every time, so there was no need for a manual pairing, but the process is relatively straightforward if it does need to be done. Another thing that must be mentioned is that even though it is a budget product, the Lark M1 comes with Adaptive Frequency Hopping technology. This is the same as on the Lark 150. I like the simple and functional design of the system. I feel the charging case design is a bit too simple. There are three slots inside it to house the two transmitters and the receiver.
