But here's one tiny snippet that cannot hurt: Her *best* memory of that day was meeting Steve Winwood - who was a thoroughly decent human being by her own account. So there ya go! Neil's Heavy Concept Album is a 1984 recording of songs and spoken comedy routines by British actor Nigel Planer, in character as the long-suffering hippie Neil from the BBC comedy series The Young Ones. Production, arrangements and keyboards are by Canterbury scene keyboardist Dave Stewart, who also plays guitar, bass and drums. Other players on the album include ex-members of bands Gong, Spooky Tooth and Level 42.

Mike from London, United KingdomSongfacts does not list Traffic's superbly intelligent pop hit, 'Paper Sun' from the summer of love. It offers a good pub quiz question: who shouts at the end - 'That's the one!' - as the song fades....And BTW, the whole crew of the tv series The Young Ones linked up in the 80s with Cliff Richard in a re-recording of Richard's 1959 hit, 'Livin' Doll' a charity fundraiser...

A cover of Tomorrow's "My White Bicycle" was a less successful follow up, only reaching number seventeen in the charts. After that, an album was produced, entitled "Neil's Heavy Concept Album." Nigel also took Neil's stage act on the road in that year as Neil in the "Bad Karma in The UK" tour. This culminated in a month long run at St. Mary's Hall at the Edinburgh Fringe. The Young Ones also appeared on Cliff Richard's 1986 charity rerecording of 'Living Doll', which spent three weeks at number one in the UK. In the 1990's, he also narrated an audiobook version of " Roger & The Rottentrolls", by Tim Firth and Gordon Firth, before the television series premiered. One of the lines, "I think I'm gonna get in the bath with my shoes on," became a popular catchphrase in the UK in the 1980s.
