Hosta Golden Tiara, commonly known as Plantain lily is a lovely, clump forming, compact perennial with large heart shaped leaves, which are mid green with a golden yellow edging fading into light cream. In July and August the Hosta Golden Tiara bears tall stems of around 50cm with lovely deep blue, bell shaped flowers which add extra colour and interest to the plant in late summer months. Designed in 1976 by Arje Griegst, Queen Margrethe was only four years into her reign when she started wearing the Golden Poppies.
