Lattafa Perfumes Industries L.L.C is Dubai's leading premium luxury perfumery of authentic Arabic fragrances and it makes the world of scent sophistication available for everyone looking to shop for perfumes across the world. Sweet OUD & (SANDAL)WOOD-PATCHOULI with amazing drydown. Opens with a floral-citrus burst with patchouli, saffron & oud touches, that deepens into a caramel & amber-oud heart, all resting on a musky amber-wood base with vanilla & patchouli touches. Overall, I get a sweet oud with faint patchouli touches in the opening with a creamy sweet oud heart on a spicy-sweet & creamy (sandal)wood-patchouli base that's to die for. The drydown reminds me of other sandalwood-patchouli drydowns, although sandalwood isn't specifically listed in the notes. Fantastic performance, that might be difficult to wear in the summer heat. I would say if you like spicy, woody scents then give this a shot, for the price of this you really can’t go wrong, I can see why so many people enjoy it. It’s well blended, smells expensive and definitely gives off a sexual aura but it’s not the sexy perfume for me. Again, I want to smell that rose!😩 Dried fruits, rose and oud make up the scent profile, similar to Oud Royal, which I love. However I find that Oud Royal could use a touch more sweetness, which I find in Lattafa Opulent Oud. But to be frankly honest I only apply 2 spritz max, I was trying to build my tolerance to Oud only bec it’s very basic where i live and maybe building my way up?

This to me is a patchouli, saffron, rose, oud and SANDALwood fragrance. I'm thinking the intersection of this supposed saffron-patchouli-sandalwood is giving the illusion of some cinnamon as well. Over all I give this fragrance a ten/ten. It's really lovley, well blended, etc. It's a more wearable middle eastern Fragrance. I love, love, loooove this stuff. This to me is the absolute best oud-centric fragrance you can buy, and it's astounding how cheap it is. I honestly think this smells nicer and more expensive than Ombre Nomade. Not that this is a clone of it or anything, but that is often seen as the king of oud-forward scents so I usually compare them to that. Then you're on a long drydown journey of about 14h, longer on clothes where it continues to move around and remain interesting. I came to realize that I really enjoy anything that has cinnamon in it, e.g. Armani Si Intense, La Belle La Parfum intense by JBG also. As of now, I have the entire opulent line, and here's what I will say. Out of ALL of them, I feel like this will be the most mass appealing to men. This definitely leans more masculine. This feels very fresh, clean, aquatic and almost a shaving cream/after shave type of smell.

Opens up with this gorgeous dark juicy wine-like scent that settles into an ensemble of oud (that's not overly rubbery or skanky), sweet juicy resins and ambers, with a bit of a sugary feel. It's very wearable and very unisex, but I (32M) wear it a lot, and even got my similar aged male friends onto bottles of their own as they also agreed how lovely it is. Also as it's so beautifully cheap I often just wear it in the evenings at home and to bed as it's so lovely.Anyway, upon opening, you are bombarded with the cinnamon bark and saffron. I hated it for the first 10 seconds, it was leaning medicinal on me. The opening is very sharp and off putting. But… give it a chance to calm down and that medicinal smell will fade. The spray that I do on my wrists before work really lasts me the entire shift and I can’t keep sniffing my wrist it really smells nice and that’s coming from someone who never thought would be wearing Oud. These are different, but there are some similarities with oud-vanilla. OM doesn't have the sandalwood-patchouli drydown, and is more of an oud-praline bland along the lines of Oud Bouquet Lancome, while Opulent Oud is woodier and more along the lines of Armani Prive Oud Royal. Both have powerhouse performance. Then you spray it on. This was my first middle-eastern fragrance, and my first smell of anything with the word "oud" in its name. It starts to soften and you’re left with Sheikh Al Shuyukh Luxe Edition ! To my nose. I have been wearing SAS for many years, so I’m well aware of the scent. However, where SAS Is more vanilla, this is more saffron and patchouli.

Projection Time: 10 (10+ hours), 9 (8-10 hours), 8 (6-8 hours), 7 (5-6 hours), 6 (4-5 hours), 5 (2-4 hours) I wear this morning, night, right after shower, and when I am going to work. I mean I am really obsessed. The sillage is also remarkable. What I smell for hours is sweet smoky cinnamon with a hint of oud and amber. It is certainly very rich, dense and fashioned in the Arabian style and not for the faint of heart. The dry-down is where Opulent Oud takes a smoky turn. Now the sap of the oud comes into play; the skanky part blends with the woodiness of the cedar. Smoke is on par with what incense resin emits when burned. It is a rich, dry, smoky incense without that clerical aspect. A copious amount of juicy resin and amber binds the smoky and dry accords, adding a touch of sweet saltiness. The base also offers an earthy side with a patchouli undertone, which gives extra depth without making the fragrance too dirty. Although there are all these elements in the base, the precious and wonderful incense stands out above all on my skin.

Fragrance Perfume Smells Simillar to:Absolute Aphrodisiac by Initio Parfums Privesand Tropical Wood Montale LATTAFA defines lifestyle and offer unforgettable creations through elegant Arabian Oud perfumes for all…Made in U.A.E. This is definitely a woody, fresh aquatic, with a hint of fruits. I feel like,if you like aftershave smells/shaving cream, you'd really enjoy this one. This would be amazinggg in summer/spring. The smell that whaffs in the air is just wonderful. In my opinion, this would definitely suit a man better than a woman. The woody notes are really wearable and agreeable. There is some fresh subtleness associated with the fragrance's woody strength that makes you really enjoy this perfume. It is very well-behaved, without any hint of a "barnyard scent". Lattafa Opulent Oud EDP 100ml unisex Perfume For Men and Women. A fragrant, warm spicy fragrance with white flowers, amber, resin and oud. As far as presentation its awesome, the type of blue coloring of the bottle is a standout and not the run of the mill blue color you find on so many perfume bottles and goes well with the dark grey emblem and cap. The cap isn't metal but its a really sturdy plastic, you won't break this one easily trust me.
