I loved the travel aspect of this book - I’m a time when travel is so restricted, travelling vicariously through books is the next best thing! When they meet again they do not totally like each other until they start getting to know each other properly.I love a feel good story and this book certainly delivered , after a slow start I was soon engrossed.

Tender, bittersweet and funny, Lucy Diamond is brilliant about love in all its guises and the mistakes we make. J'ai plongé complètement dans cette lecture toute douce qui donne envie de croire que tout est possible. Compared to her other books this one left me feeling dissatisfied with the comparative superficially of the way the story was being handled and quite irritated by the characters’ behaviour.

Anything Could Happen is my first read by Lucy Diamond and I’m not sure how I feel now that I’ve finished. Now she had turned eighteen and with the biology lesson in mind, decided she wanted to meet her father to discover who he was in connection to her, and why he left her and Lara when she was only young. The book explores the importance of the different types of loves that we have in our lives; parents, sisters, friends and partners. The book we all need – full of escapism and beautiful places, fabulous characters, romance, hope and kindness.
