Michelle Yeoh and then Cynthia Kahn star as the toughest cops on the streets, using fists, feet and guns to take down triads, thieves and international criminals. Yen, on the other hand, while a trained actor, was the son of a Tai Chi grandmaster (his mother, Bow-sim Mark), who grew up between Boston and China, and is an award-winning practitioner of practical-use martial arts. There are some incredible stunts too, including a couple of high falls and a terrifying sequence that sees characters fighting on and hanging off moving cars.

Rothrock’s character (as usual) is susceptible to sexist and racist remarks from her Asian counterparts, and she proves them all wrong with her amazing prowess as a fighter. I've never seen the film before, so I'm not sure if that's the way it's always been, or if it is something that crept in with this Blu Ray release? As with the previous two films in the set, the results are strong, though held back somewhat by a couple of things. Do we dumb down insightful knowledge and settle for mediocrity just because someone gets the metoo stamp put on them?
