Before we start, just so you know, although this air fryer has the word ‘dual’ in the name, it doesn’t have two drawers. The dual refers to dual heating technology, but more on that below.

Like other Cosori air fryers, the 4.7L boasts a stylish and modern design, fitting seamlessly into any kitchen design. It’s compact yet large enough to cook sizeable portions. Although it’s not a multi-cooker or suitable for larger families, it does an excellent job for its size and capabilities. It offers a blend of efficiency, simplicity, and cooking options.Another reason I prefer the Dual Blaze over this model is the design of the basket. This model has a removable basket that detaches on the handle – although this air fryer has remained sturdy so far I did once own an air fryer with this design before and the clasp broke where it detaches. Not only is it larger in capacity, but I also prefer the basket design. The Cosori 5.5L has a basket that can be released from the drawer rather than fixed. Although it has proved sturdy to date, it doesn’t feel as durable as the Dual Blaze, which is an all-in-one basket (although you can still remove the plate inserts). Maintenance of the Cosori Air Fryer is easy. The appliance is made from aluminium and plastic materials, and the dishwasher-safe basket simplifies clean-up.

It’s also worth noting that the basket size is ample for two to four people, I often make three to four portions of a recipe. You can easily cook various foods, from chips and meatballs to a whole gammon joint. But what makes this air fryer oven stand out from other models is its dual heating technology that combines top and bottom heating elements. This technology allows it to cook food faster and more evenly than other models without the need for shaking or preheating. It also has patented automatic temperature controls that adjust the heat according to the food type and quantity. On the downside, this model doesn’t come with WiFi connectivity and can’t be linked to the VeSync app. Personally, I don’t see this as a problem; I rarely use the WiFi feature on the air fryers I have with it as a function. Prevent scratches and ensure your air fryer is always ready with silicone bases. Place one on the bottom for protection and one on the top of the food to prevent splatter. Using these bases will also make your air fryer easier to clean. The Cosori 3.8L has a temperature range of 75-230℃and the air fryer’s top-positioned control panel makes it easy to view and adjust settings. One-touch food presets simplify your cooking process, taking the guesswork out of meal preparation. Furthermore, the Cosori 3.8L is fully compatible with the VeSync app and Google Assistant, offering smart control for hands-free cooking.If I had to choose between this model and the Cosori 5.5L (which I am also currently reviewing), I would go for the Dual Blaze. Overall, this air fryer oven is a great choice for people who want a smart and versatile appliance that can easily cook various dishes. It is easy to use and clean and has a large capacity and dual heating technology, making it stand out from other models. It is also reasonably priced for its quality and features.
