Description

The remaining speaker array faces forward behind a fabric panel, with the left and right output partially directed through side grilles. With Dolby Atmos content, there's no profound sense of overhanging audio, but you do get physical imposition with heft and clarity. With stunning picture and sound quality, a raft of innovative and interesting features, and a few killer extras, the A95L easily deserves to play among the most stalwart of the industry’s power players — and it dominates them in more than a few categories. Never again struggle for something to watch on the TV as Cello Google TVs include Freeview Play as standard, allowing users to access an additional 85 channels plus 20,000 hours of on-demand content, for no extra cost.

Not just for movies, the S95C is an excellent gaming TV. There's support for up to 144Hz refresh rate, VRR and ALLM across all four HDMI 2.1 ports and there's a dedicated Game Hub to organize all things gaming into one place, with Xbox cloud gaming compatibility as well. Frustratingly, there's no Dolby Vision support for movies or gaming, but ultimately the S95C's picture quality more than makes up for this. A better question might concern what to look for when buying a 65-inch 4K TV, to which we’d say picture quality, app support, other handy bells and whistles like voice control and, of course, price. We’ve answered this question in a much more detailed guide elsewhere on TechRadar, but the short answer is: yes, if you can afford to. Replaced Sony A95K with Samsung S95C and re-named category 'best premium OLED'. Replaced Samsung QN900B with Samsung QN900C as best 8K TV. LG G3 became 'best TV for wall-mounting'.Features like HDR support, Dolby Vision and Atmos, OLED panels and the like can be real differentiators, too, when it comes to finding the 65-inch 4K TV with the best viewing experience, though it’s no surprise that the more of these extras a display has, the more expensive it tends to be. What is 4K resolution? The Sky Glass screen has a number of attractive attributes (our review sample is the Medium 55-incher): QLED colour, 'Intelligent Zonal' local dimming, and Auto picture management. The concept of a "big-screen TV" has changed a lot over the years. It used to be that anything larger than 40 inches was huge and 65-inch models were the absolute peak size for flat panels. Those days are gone, and we're fully immersed in an era of absolutely massive TVs. If you want to hit or even exceed 65 inches on your next TV, we're here to show you what to buy and how. As well as all of those viewing options, using your Android device you can cast photos, videos, music and other content from your mobile device straight to the TV using Chromecast technology.

is, essentially, an ultra-high-definition screen resolution. Also called UHD or 4K UHD, the display technology has become the default screen resolution across all of the TVs that you’re likely to see in stores today – as well as many PC monitors, too. There's also a Custom setting, with individual control of contrast, sharpness, brightness, and saturation. There are two Dolby Vision HDR settings, Bright and Dark. The former is our recommended option. Another interesting feature is the 'Acoustic Center Sync', which allows a compatible soundbar to be connected to the TV to become the center speakers itself, enabling a bolder, more room-filling sound. If you're in the market for a new TV, you'll want to consider a few factors before you spend your money. Our TV buying guide breaks down the fine details of what features matter and what distinguishes a great TV from one that's just okay. For a 65-inch set we strongly recommend going with 4K resolution. There are a few older 1080p models still available, but they simply aren't a good value today. And while 8K TVs are hitting the market in the 65-inch size, it will still be some time before 8K resolution gets mainstream support. The only displays which sport a sharper picture are the 8K variety – though, being a still-new technology, choice in that department is much more limited and, naturally, 8K models are far more expensive. How we tested the best 65-inch TVs

Product Overview

In terms of performance, this isn't the best TV that's available. The AV performance is comparable to rival upper budget/mid-range models, rather than premium screens from the likes of Sony, LG, Panasonic and Samsung. The LG OLED C3 easily lives up to its predecessors’ hype and presents a compelling case for itself as part of the newest generation of TVs. No matter what you want to watch, this set will make it sparkle and if you’re a gamer, you’ll benefit from its performance and dizzying selection of dedicated features just as much.

For whatever reason, our sample didn't want to wake up, even if you dance around in front of it (we tried), but it does auto nod off. Tab down and an App and Inputs rail offers up just that. Sky has assembled a solid assortment of streaming services here, 21 at launch, including Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+, BBC iPlayer, BBC sounds, All4, ITVhub, YouTube, discovery+ and STV player. More recently others have been added, like Apple TV Plus.Cello’s range aims to offer a TV for everyone, but tends to focus on areas that more mainstream manufacturers are leaving behind.
