Released as part of the Furai Model line by Flame Toys, This Acid Storm is an articulated, non-transforming, Voyager Class-sized Gunpla-style model kit, redecoed from the Starscream mold. Due to the runner's palettes, Acid Storm is molded in primarily green, blue-green, and purple ABS plastic. His translucent yellow plastic still remains. Like Starscream, his Null-rays can be detached for use as handheld blasters. Jetrons flying in a straight line are destroyed with just one hit; rather than converting to robot mode, they leave behind an upgrade the Autobots can use to temporarily augment their abilities. Subsequent reissues had more distinctive presentation, and this article strives to list each one under its own header. The long lifespan of his toy actually began in 1986, when Starscream remained part of the assortment for that year despite the departure of nearly every other 1984 toy from store shelves. The first reissue of the original Starscream toy in North America since the Generation 1 toyline reached its end, this " Commemorative Series" edition of the figure was a Toys"R"Us exclusive. It featured functional missile launchers for the first time on a Hasbro version of the toy, but because the launchers now worked, both sets of missiles had to be lengthened for safety reasons. This didn't work out so badly with the null-rays, but the cluster bombs just wound up looking stupid. Itami Prime uses the generic Seeker design, but his unique characterization as an Autobot Town Commander prevents his membership from being definitive.

Accessories: Left & right fists, left & right wings, left & right tail fins, left & right tail wings, landing gear, 2 missile launchers, 3 missiles, sound/light energy unitA redeco of Alt-Modes Starscream, Skywarp is a super deformed toy whose body transforms into a jet when the Decepticon faction symbol on his head is flipped. He was blind-boxed and available in the first two cases of the toyline. As seen on Kingdom Hot Rod's card illustration and Skywarp's instructions, the Energon Warp Fork is one of the three components of a combined sword. The horizontal 3mm post on the fork also prevents it from being adequately positioned when attached. This can be amended by slightly trimming off the post, though this method prevents the accessory from attaching to Skywarp's nose cone. As the Ascenticon Guard began recruiting members directly from The Rise in the aftermath of the Tether's destruction, Acid Storm reunited with his old teammates Ion Storm and Nova Storm. Elita-1 noted this was a clear statement of military intent, and warned Soundwave that everybody would know it. All Fall Down Skywarp unfortunately became a massive shelfwarmer, prominently seen at U.S. Target stores in bulk among the Titans Return toyline.

Plastic, rubber, paint and joints a bit loose. The engineering is as always on top quality of course, i was talking about materials and feeling. But you're right, it's one of the best mpm (i'm missing Ratchet and BB OP). Though Skywarp was scheduled for a first quarter 2016 release, he arrived on U.S. store shelves in late 2015.

Are there any common problems I should be aware of with this guy? I've read something about shaving off the feet to prevent breakage, or is that for the KO only? The fun part is spending too much money on Unite Warriors 'Screams so that you can have an all-Starscream combiner. According to Hasbro's BotCon 2008 panel, Acid Storm was originally to be named Rainmaker, then Acid Rain, but those names didn't clear legal.

The retooled version of this sculpt (including the guns) was later used for a running change variant of a "Dollar Store" exclusive version of Starscream. Acid Storm's jet mode features a jungle camouflage pattern, which impressively is almost entirely unseen in his robot mode, at least from the front and sides. A redeco and minor retool of Q-Transformers Starscream, Skywarp transforms from a super deformed F-15 to a cute chubby little robot. His facial expression has been changed from Starscream's smirk into a crazy grin. The first transformable Starscream toy not to turn into a jet, Alternity Starscream transforms into a licensed 1:32 scale Mitsuoka Orochi. Like the other toys in the line, he features die-cast metal parts and rubber tires, as well as an opening hood, trunk and doors. This is also the only Alternity mold to feature a fake kibble chest. But for whatever reason, he stays in his role as one of the Rainmakers rather than striking out on his own. [1] “ Fully jointed and highly articulated, including articulated ankles, feet, torso and fingers, which allows for intricate posabilty in action poses, especially when holding weapon accessories

Cyberverse (2018), Kreons, Construct-Bots, Bot Shots, etc. All the side-line toys/merchandise stuffThis character article is a stub and is missing information on their video game appearances. You can help Transformers Wiki by expanding it. Standing at only two inches tall, Smallest Transforming Transformers Starscream is a very small-scale simplification of the original Starscream toy. It retains a surprising amount of the larger toy's functionality and accessories, except its tail fins and wings are combined into single pieces, and his null-rays and landing gear are left out. The Seekers were a pre-existing group long before the formation of the Decepticons. There is some indication that the Seekers are an elite group of the best of the best fliers, although what (if anything) distinguishes a Seeker from any other flying Transformer is open to question. They tend to mostly, though not always, share a common design. The Ultimate Gift Set is an online retailer exclusive in the United States, but is available at general retail in Hasbro's Asian markets. Starscream is known to have come with either pale grey missiles, better fitting his new color scheme, or bright green missiles like Skyquake's.
