Sadly … the advertised Ron Turner strips, which I presume would’ve been the one page strips continuing in from the TV21 storyline, aren’t in here …. DWM editor Marcus Hearn has previously said that he’d love to do collections of pre-DWM strips, from TV Comic, Countdown, and TV Action; but these are dependent on sourcing artwork known to have survived, if possible, as well as scans from good quality issues of the titles. Commentary section featuring behind the scenes secrets from the comic creators, sketches and previously unseen artwork! When people realize this as we now face tough economic times firms will struggle more than they realize yet.

Please note - some interviews and feature items from older versions of the web site are still archived. Do they have enough material for the next Jodie book, given the strip-less days in lockdown and the reduced page count? Great stuff - the second volume collecting all the Doctor Who Magazine Dalek strips - some well drawn art and some solid scripting brining back some great memories ….The 1996 story and the more recent one are original pieces not subject to the complicated rights concerning the two movies. The 172 page Daleks: The Ultimate Comic Strip Adventures Volume 2 features tales of the Second, Sixth, Seventh and Eighth Doctors from the pages of Doctor Who Magazine. Dave, I think there is enough for a second Jodie book – it would likely include The Piggybackers (4 parts/32pp), The White Dragon (4 parts/32 pp), The Forest Bride (2 parts/12pp), It’s Behind You!

The only other dalek material is the follow up strips to the sixties dalek strip and the latest cushing strip. It was something like 1994 when they printed it and the deal will have been either for a single printing or for a limited time period which will have lapsed by now. Does anyone know why the back-up strips from Doctor Who Weekly and the early monthlies have never been collected into volumes?
