Description

We were sent two of the purple Micro Children’s Deluxe Helmet in medium. These feature a flashing rear light for safety. It’s worth taking a few minutes to get used to folding and unfolding the scooter. It’s a very simple mechanism but one that’s worth perfecting before your kids take a ride.

There are several different ranges in the Micro Scooter family that suit different ages, abilities and preferences when it comes to scooting. The Micro Scooter range has since won a string of awards including best designed scooter by Junior Design magazine and best scooter for toddlers by Cycling World. The footplate has silicone mouldings spelling at the Micro name that make it extra grippy which is essential for soggy shoes in Britain. How to fold and unfold the Maxi Micro DeluxeWe added colourful ribbons and helmets to our Maxi Micro Deluxe foldable LED scooters to ensure the kids could play on their new rides safely. These are sold separately. The Maxi Micro range is for kids aged five to 12 – making it an ideal scooter for my kids age range. The size difference is clear when you see them next to each other in terms of the board. The handle bar pole also extends far longer on the Maxi Micro Scooter. But the great thing about Micro Scooters is that they combine that durable safety with cool designs, features and accessories that make them irresistible to kids.

Of course the best thing about the Micro Scooters range is how durable and solid they are. This is the most important feature parents want when shopping for a scooter for little ones. I give them the thumbs-up because they are built with such a sturdy and robust frame so they can cope with anything the kids throw at them. The kids adore them because they look cool and riding them is so easy and fun. The Micro Scooter was founded in 2004 when two British ladies discovered the scooters made by Swiss inventor Wim Oubtoer. He launched his scooters 20 years ago and the inventor has since been named one of the top 10 toy inventors of all time! I think the lean to steer feature is really fab for little riders, as it is so easy to get used to.The kids absolutely loved their Mini Micro scooters but it’s been clear for a while my very tall five-year-old (she’s always been long ever since she was born) is growing out of hers. The Maxi Micro Deluxe is steered with the same lean to turn mechanise that the girls’ Mini Micro scooters have. Your child simply leans the handlebars in the direction they would like to go in and it steers the scooter. Open up the box, unfold the frame, then adjust and tighten the handlebars and you’re ready to scoot! Parents – like me – will love how easy it is to fold and therefore transport. It fits easily into the boot of a car of making it far easier to carry if your kids are riding a scooter to school and you then need to carry it home.
