A wave of Cascalone®, a fantastic aquatic molecule, ensures Acqua Di Gio Profumo Special Blend retains an essence of the sea. I really need to smell this on a man because on paper the incense is so unbearably strong it makes me choke. If it is discontinued or not - I have no idea - because in my country you can get it almost everywhere without a problem - but it is true that it does not have a magnetic plug (new formulation - which is also less powerful with less smoke/more green! i paste the same review of the PROFUMO version, in my nose they are quite the same, if there are dfiferences, they are minimal.

You're entitled to your opinion, do what you want to but I see this one as a money grab for Armani, not a genuinely different fragrance. Figured maybe I had just been wearing other scents that day and perhaps there was an olfactory conflict. What's the most interesting and beautiful part is when patchouli starts to appear and somehow becomes the dominant note to me. I get great performance and ladies like it too but to be honest it is good but no that great as hyped by the community.As there is a higher oil content to make them last longer, with ALL perfumes, not just The Essence Vaults's perfumes, we do recommend that you take care when applying on clothes, and of course you do so at your own risk. This is Aqua Di Gio taken from a casual fresh sent, to a more sophisticated, deeper and grown-up fragrance.

I am very pleased to have snagged one of the last unopened boxes out there and am hopeful that the new Parfum flanker is a similar or even better interpretation of this.Definitely has a maturity to it but it's also very versatile, I don't pick it up as being old man-ish any more.

It seems to be the best balance of Profumo and some of the more youthful releases like Profundo or Absolu. I would not wear this during extreme heat during daytime but it could work on summer evenings in more formal and climate control environment. Unusual spicy opening that smooths out rapidly into an almost "fresh oriental" warmth that could transfer into a summer evening out easily. Some of my favorites have been discontinued and by the time I found out it was to late because I try not to be so obsessive but sadly you almost have to be or loose out on fragrances you love . Will be getting myself a bottle of the OG EDT which I smelled for the first time a few weeks ago and both me and my gf loved as well.I feel it is aimed more towards an evening with your office team or a date, but in my opinion I do not feel it would hold in a club which is a targeted hotspot for this cologne, as there are many other colognes that will out perform ADG. This would be suitable for a signature fragrance, one you wear to the office, or out on a date night. I questioned weather it was a good decision when I bought two large back ups when I heard this may be discontinued . It has a purpose in terms of knowing you will smell formal and clean in job scenarios but it's definitely not one you reach for with excitement.

The powerful fragrance is distinguished by its incense notes, which bring an incandescent intensity to the emblematic marine notes of Acqua di Giò. Never had the chance to do a side-by-side comparison with the other profumo, but from memory they're 95% similar with the special blend main difference being A LITTLE BIT SWEETER DUE TO THAT BETTER PATCHOULI AND INCENSE.

Like the reviews say, it does smell a bit sweeter as well, but that could be placebo effect from reading that descriptor so many times. This scent made me realize I didn't want to grow up, I didn't want to accept change and acknowledge that I was getting older. The sun beats down on your skin, warming you from head to toe, and the salty sea breeze brushes past, carrying with it the fragrance of the ocean.
