I shouldn’t have doubted K. Webster because Triple Threat was so good! It’s a reverse harem romance with a heroine and three identical triplet heroes. The Mannford boys have grown up now and they’re not as spoiled and bratty. Sparrow, Scout, and Sully kind of work for the mafia but all they want to do is escape so they can live their own lives. Their uncle gives them one last assignment before they can be free – dupe the daughter of a tech billionaire into believing they’re one man and get close to her so they can find out her father’s secrets. her dad is so weird i'm actually so concerned and idk if this is going to be revealed in the next book because i dont understand how laundry is not a virgin. Despite the story having three male leads, it isn’t a reverse harem, in the sense that you can’t see whether all three will get with Landry in the end, or just one will come out on top. Maybe none of them will. Then there’s the added complication of Ty Constantine, the man Landry’s father wants to see her date. I’m pretty sure none of the triplets would want to share Landry with him! They've reigned as the Terror Triplets, using cruelty and intimidation to rule New York City society. Now they face a bigger challenge: the reclusive heiress Laundry Croft. It is their job to work their way into her life. They need to make her trust them. Even while they keep their own secrets. Each man uses her in his own way. They seduce her and manipulate her....but will they fall in love? I started the book not knowing that this is a spin-off to another series so you can expect my confusion while reading this. And thus, I feel like something was missing and couldn't find myself connected much to the characters (mostly the triplet) since the reason they spread into Croft World was to seek retribution for what Winston did to them. While I really liked each of the triplets individually, as a group they annoyed me. They were incapable of sharing information or communicating properly with each other and so competitive for Landry’s affections that it was a wonder they made it to the end of the book without her discovering their secrets. It’s not like they didn’t have experience to learn from either – they had played this game before. Although they were assigned their roles, the trio never really came up with a plan to make the whole endeavour work.Death Wish is part of the Midnight Dynasty series, a multi-author collaboration and the Terror Triplets were introduced in the Cinderella trilogy. While it’s not strictly necessary to have read those books, there will be spoilers for them. Death Wish completes the Deception Duet and must be read following Triple Threat. However, my confusion on exactly how to rate this stems from the fact I read the Cinderella series and I know how horrible the triplets were. They even got their kneecaps bashed in by the hero in that series in retaliation for how they treated the heroine. The heroine(s): Landry Croft - she was being abused by her father and wanted to protect her deaf little sister so she and her sister ran away. She thought she was running to a friend, but instead ran straight into the hands of the Mannford brothers. Not that I could leave. I would never abandon my little sister. Hope comes in the form of a devilishly handsome man with dark eyes and darker secrets. Landry is staying in a living hell to perfect her sister. I don’t think I have hated a fictional character so much, the ideas that popped into my head to take care of her home life. I love her and her adorable sister, Delilah.

From the moment I met the Terror Triplets in the Stroke of Midnight, I knew they needed a girl to keep them in line. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect all the twist and turns that arose along the way. Under the watchful eye of their Mafioso “uncle”, they are instructed to “infiltrate” the life of a powerful business rival…but not the business king…his daughter!Scout, Sully, and Sparrow Mannford’s lives were irrevocably changed by their past mistakes. Now, under the thumb of their ruthless uncle, they were used to advance the Morelli family in the hierarchy. But their latest assignment could push them deeper when Landry Croft became more than just a job. With that said, I have a thing for villain. Especially, in this case, I have a thing for Scout (the most sadistic one). Villains are interesting. Better an interesting villain than morally greyed ambiguous antihero, in my opinion.

As brothers there was a level of incestuous behaviour that was a bit 🤧, which is why I was ultimately pulling for her to end up with one. Why are you happy to share her… all of their bodies touching whilst making love to her… sorry but it’s really not hot when you deep it 😭 The story is told from all 4 MCs POVs and I have to admit that I was a bit confused about who is which triplet in the beginning. The build up, the suspense and the outcome of this journey, made this story irresistibly delicious!
