So, yes, this had the element of Knox going after his best friend’s ex, an ex Chance was supposedly in love with, but I just didn’t care. Knox struck me as infatuated but in denial, with a scar down the side of his face from brow to lip, he was intriguing to most of the schools female student body, and had a bleachers reputation to boot. That being said, the ending, and the two epilogues filled my heart with tons of love, smiles, surprised (in a good way), and some pretty significant details that came full circle for Ava and Knox.

I could so see the struggles Knox was going through with worrying about his brother and the fact that his best friend had been seeing Ava. I chose this book because I saw that Zachary Webber was the male narrator and I will listen to almost anything he reads.Knox was a tough cookie to crack, but underneath all that tough exterior, he was simply in love with Ava and went above and beyond to not only make her happy, but to help her in anyway possible. Although she is not a virgin I wish she had more experience because she saw him with three girls, he feels ashamed when she told him that but she is the one who purposely went to see him with others after the first time, she wasn’t jealous BUT why is that necessary? Yet despite their struggles, this book highlights two very strong people whose bravery, character and fortitude rival that of many adults.
